Welcome to the Gamingforce Interactive Forums.
GFF is a hellhole full of elitists who chat about everything EXCEPT games. We have a team of dedicated moderators who will ban your ass on the slightest provocation, constant member-organized activities that you are not allowed to participate in, and plenty of custom features, including our unique journal system where you can post entries that will be completely ignored. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ or our GFWiki. You will have to register before you can post. Although membership is completely free (and gets rid of the pesky advertisement unit underneath this message) we do not recommend that you sign up, because you will get kicked in the nuts repeatedly.

Please... no. ;_;

I endure enough torture from my friends, I don't need tons of people online calling me that as well.
Probably shouldn't have mentioned it on here then. o_o

I second that motion, Deni.

There's been a fairly large variety over the years though none of them have stuck outside their context so there's that at least. Vlad, sasquatch ,that hippy guy, rainbow, fat mike, and Waylon Jennings. Waylon seems the most acceptable one though I'm not sure being associated with country singers does anyone good.

Gorilla Tits on the other hand that's something to be proud of. Hell that boy needs a nice engraved plaque to go with that name change.

When I was a toddler I got the nickname "Boojum" because a desert garden me and my mother frequented had a Boojum tree that we liked. That got shortened to "Boo", and later lengthened to "Boogery Boo" due to my amazing ability to produce snot.

Then when my little brother was a toddler, he couldn't say my name so he called me "Bubba", and that one has stuck within the family.

Very few nicknames from outside of the family, and pretty much none have stuck. I got called "Vampire" a few times in college due to my unusual sleeping habits, and a friend at college called me "Sleeping Dragon" for a while due to my irritability at being woken up on the weekends.

My grandparents are the only ones that ever called me Jon-Jon. My grandfather still asks about me by this name which tends to put a smile on myf ace. Occasionally my mom will slip into this but only when there's something extremely important or dire being discussed at that point in time.

As far as WB/Dub/Dubble goes I get asked this all the time:

"WB" started out in college at Tennessee State. Half of my friends there barely know my real name is Jonathan considering I was called by that name so much. Strangely enough it was started by a roommate of mine that I later came to dislike, based on my art style (WB standing for Warner Brothers, my favorite animation company at the time)

"Dub" was the "shortened" version of WB which is what friends online and my college buddies down in Savannah called me, and is currently what I am known by from the largest amount of people.

"Dubble" started here and in a few places where I couldn't register Dub or WB because they were too short. Dubble simply meaning "Dub 2".

And that's that

People call me 'Mouse'. Not so much anymore. Some people still do. I don't have a long drawn out story as to why. It just happened.

Only nickname I usually got was my last name...

Yeah, I have led a pretty boring life in terms of nicknames. Most of my family calls me "Antz" which started with my Grandmother years ago.
