What do you consider your worse talent?

I'm sure out of all the things we tend to think that we're good at, there is at least one thing that try as we might we never seem to be very good at it.

I guess it just goes to show you that perfection doesn't exist. We can't be good at everything.

For myself, as many times as I try, I can't seem to be a very good cook. Even if I follow the directions step by step, 9 chances out of 10 I'll fuck it up completely. I can cook the basic things that require little to no effort. You give me any kind of recipe and I'll probably turn it into a natural disaster. On the scatter occassion I can cook something incredibly good especially if it involves rice and vegetables. There are occassion where I have no other choice but to cook, but out of any talents that I do have I consider this one to be my worst.

It is because of the lack of cooking that I do; that doing the dishes is my #1 chore in our household. I got no problems doing the dishes, she does all the cooking in the household except if we just want a quick something to eat and both of us end up making something quick and easy.

To GFF community, what do you consider your worse talent?

I should better explain myself. I think Deni hit the nail on the head with his first proposal. In terms of the thing your good at least of all other things you're good at. I apologize about any inconveience. I guess this topic is not getting off a great start.

I could be mistaken, but I'm fairly certain in this instance so I'll proceed: I believe the word you're looking for is "worst".

Now, you may be asking yourself, "Hey, isn't that a German sausage or something?", but, in actuality, the word "worst" means, in my own words, the very lowest in terms of quality, condition, or what have you. Using this word in place of "worse" in your post would add some much-needed cohesiveness and clarity to what is, otherwise, a far-reaching (and some might say philosophical question) that one would be unable to answer without dedicating it much thought.

Now, doesn't that look much better? More importantly, don't you feel much better?

You completely left out the context issue. Your worst talent? As in... the thing you're good at least of all other things you're good at? Or like... something you're really good at that you should be ashamed at? Like the two-handed masturbation techniques you picked up at bible camp.

I think - and correct me if I'm wrong about this - that if I'm not very good at a particular skill or activity, then it's pretty damned arrogant of me to call it a "talent."

My worst talent is stage magic. I kill the poor girl every time.
