I just listened to a remix of #179 right now, so I went back and answered that one. Knew it was familiar~

Also, according to Mo0 and Kaleb, apparently I doubly fail at life. But we all knew this already.

I fail at life too...because I've never heard of 197 in my life.

Those who haven't heard of 188 also fail at life. That only

seems fair.

i read that, and thought "hm, i didn't vote on 188." but then i remembered a song that was pretty much drilled into my head while playing a game......

I'm 90% sure I know what 188 is. I've never played the game, but I've listened to the soundtrack. I only kept three tracks from it, so I'll need to download the whole thing again and compare.

Yay for going back and getting old ones. I happened to listen to an arrangement of one of the songs I hadn't been sure about and then listened to all the VGMQ songs trying to find it. It was #37. +4 points!
Latest music rips (updated April 11, 2008):

Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels?
Super Off-Road - SNES rock from the Follin bros.

Currently playing: Geometry Wars Evolved 2 (XBLA), Half-Life 2: Episode Two (360)

Play-Asia - Japanese CDs, game soundtracks, game imports, & more

There was a three-track mini-update, including a dreaded 9-pointer. The news post gives a cryptic warning, "Be careful with #0199."

I didn't get any of them, so I don't know what he meant by that.

Didn't get any of them either. Too bad there were only three this week. :-/

Me neither. Well, I was fortunate to find the #113, I hope that I didn't fail in that.

There was a new update.

Just got the 202 and 209, and maybe can search for the 208.

One thing I can think of is that it starts off sounding rather similar to 097. But I got that, so I should be able to handle this.

Okay, I got 202, 208, and 210. 209 was like getting shot in 11 places.

I got #201, 208 and 209.

I also agree with DarkComet's assertion on #209...that one needs to be OLRed.

Really bloody annoying when you know one of the songs off by heart yet can't get the name. 166, how I loathe you.

Oh, add 189 to that too.

HOW THE FUCK DID I NOT GET #196 UNTIL NOW

I KNEW I knew that stupid track. Goddammit.

Also, the guy running it had a hard drive crash, so there won't be any updates for a while.

#213, #215, and #217 coming up for a small amount of points. For me, getting 30% of an update is pretty good.

#212 sounds sort of familiar; I'm probably thinking of a remix if I've heard it before.
