It doesn't? I thought it did - the GameFAQs writeup says the game has some sort of Jukebox, so I assumed it was a sound test.

I'm glad I can turn off SFX and vocals completely though, makes it easier.

Oh wow... you're right. I just checked. I never bothered to beat Frantic Finale in Mirror Mode. I guess it would be worth it so you don't get the engine sounds in the music.

Jukebox is most likely the sound test. In DKR, the Jukebox was the sound test.

Wow. That's the one I was planning on doing next, myself. You can go ahead and do it if you like, I've only done a preliminary analysis.

I see questions about the jukebox and such as well posted, I'll tell you what I found:

The jukebox is a cheat, I don't know what unlocks it, all I know is that I have it under the cheat menu.
Once you toggle the jukebox cheat on, it is not apparent how to access it; to do so, you go to the volume settings, and an interface for the jukebox will be there.
One big problem: All the tracks are unlabeled. They are titled "Track 1" and so on. I think there were 43 tracks in all.

Hahaha, this was your next rip? o_0

Thanks for the jukebox tip, I'll try it out later. Maybe I don't need to play through the game after all... but maybe I should anyway just in case I don't miss any tracks. >_>

Yeah, it was. But I don't mind, less work for me! I'll just find something else to do when I get the itch to rip again.

I have just one request I'd like to make ^^.

Nintendo DS -- Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan

There is a compilation floating around with the original songs, but unfortunately, there's nothing with the covers actually featured in the game~ If anyone could rip the soundtrack, that would be spectacular ToT~~~!

None of that approaches this:

The Mr. Methane CD, purchased over ebay for .01¢. Yeah, free shipping. This guy performs all sorts of neat stuff, including the doot doot, doot doot from the Blue Danube.

Allow me to share a track from this CD. Here ya go.
I think he should have paid you .01¢ instead.

Hiya Eriol ^^! (And woo, nice new icon *_*)

And ack, thanks for the info, Cubed~~~~ That really blows ;_;~ I wonder if iNiS did that on purpose XD;;;;;? I'm still holding out hope that a soundtrack might pop up from them, but I know it'll more than likely never happen, hahahaha XD.

[Edit] Fixed the company name~ ^^;;

Well, I think it was more like streaming samples into SPC700 chip (SNES sound chip).
It had 64kb of memory, so streaming samples to it could get around that limitation as the whole music wasn't held in that SPC memory.
Sounds about right. The Clayfighter soundtrack is dumpable, save for the title song with attached vocals. Also explains why a lot of emulators balk at playing the announcer's sound effects.

It's probably possible to cobble together workable SPCs for Lord of the Rings by mining the ROM for the music segments and then chaining them all together, but you'd need to enable a special hack in all the SPCs players just for that one game. Probably way more trouble than it's worth. Alas.

Can someone rip Hitman: Blood Money? I have the Xbox version but I think all the data files are compiled into like 7x 250MB pieces and that's a pain. Perhaps the PC version is easier to extract?

Anyways... thanks.

if anyone cares, I have a Shadowgate 64 rip, but I don't remember if it's good quality and/or complete. But I know that it was his first gamerip. (but I don't remember who he was ;_; )

EDIT: I just checked. there's a txt with the rip:

"This RIP was made by Raynor with his computer and his N64

There are some "intruder " sounds but it was impossible for me to avoid it

Hope you'll like the music ;-)"

anyone knows Raynor ?

Anyone wanna take a crack at ripping Harvest Moon: Magical Melody for the Gamecube? I don't think MI is planning a OST anytime soon for it.
