 I got much better from the Dublin server than the UK one. Paying for 2mbit down / 256k up so not too shabby. Can't wait till ADSL2+ finally gets to our area; delay after delay  The predicted speed for our distance is around 17mb down and 1.3mb up <3.

 For 350mi away my speeds are pretty good. Back in December I was getting about 6.5mbps but that was when there was still a Toronto server and that was only about 50mi away. I have the same service that Inhert has with Rogers TV/Internet/Phone for $115CAD a month.  |

 Fastest download speed! But look at my shit upstream. I'm hoping FiOS comes to my town soon so I can get 2000kb/s upstream and oh 15000kb/s downstream. Comcast gives me ultrafast downloads but easily the worst down/upstream ratio of any ISP I've seen to date. Even 1:10 would work nice, but no I get some 1:55 ratio here. Funny thing I live only several miles away from Portland yet I get pings of over 100 while San Jose gives me pings of under 50   |

 Definitely capped by the university, unfortunately. I'm closer to the New York server, but my latency is actually higher there (~90), my download is a little faster (~8000), and my upload is slower (~1800).

 This is a shared university connection, so it can go quite a bit faster or slower depending on how many users there are, the distance to the server, the phase of the moon, etc. Still, 6MBPS isn't bad at all.
The best part about playing the UBOA isn't making the player shit bricks, it's showing everyone online that I did.

 My God, looking at your speedtests only solidifies what I've known all along: Verizon fucking sucks The closest people to my download rate were still a good 500 mbps ahead. How much is that FIOS stuff anyways? Though Capo's got it bad, damn.  The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even.

Edit:  Damn, you seriously need to talk to someone Capo. I way off in NYC and still got higher rates than you. Not to mention I'm now thinking of switching to Road Runner, since this is definitely some bullshit on Verizon's part. The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even.

...I just looked at Mush's rates, and don't feel as bad. =D But seriously, this is nothing less than highway robbery especially when RR's offering 5,000 kbps down for 4-5 bucks more than what I'm paying now.

 On a 3meg DSL connection for $29 with a local ISP. This is over a wireless PCI card as well.
