Printer Problem...

IT'S NOT PRINTING

Using XP... and HP PSC 1100 Series... printer online... size of file 2.99kb... it says printing... but it NEVER does... no jammed anything... no cartrage problems... nothing... just won't print... am using the right ports and everything plugged in... any ideas?

Make sure that you're printing to the correct printer, for one.
(In Word, for example, make sure that you're printing to the "HP PSC" printer as opposed to the Microsoft Image Writer. You'll actually need to go to File->Print for that one.)

Check to make sure there are no dialog boxes on your computer (or any other computers if it's a networked printer) that are error messages related to it. At a work printer I have, sometimes Adobe spits out an error message about how it's missing a font, which causes the printer to not work from any computer.

Just another thing to check.

It could be the drivers. It sounds like what I had a while back someone told me to download the drivers off of the HP site and it worked again....maybe that's what you need to do?
