Something's really fucked up with my MP3 player
Alright, so I just finished uploading some music onto my MP3 player and after I disconnect it, the MP3 player freezes. It had the "USB Cable Disconnected" screen on it. It was on that screen for about 5 minutes. It eventually goes to the loading screen that has the iRiver logo on it saying that it's loading the interface and crap like that. It freezes on that screen. I wait another 5 minutes for that thing, but I kinda panicked, thinking something's wrong with it so I disconnected the battery and reconnected it. That was a really bad move, wasn't it?
So after I turn it back on, I go through the music menu and see if anything is fucked up. Things are indeed fucked up. The sections are all blank. Nothing shows up. Of course, the first thing I thought was that everything has been delated off of the Mp3 player. I reconnect it and see if the files are gone. Nope, they're still there. I turn on the MP3 player and check through the Browser section and I can still play the music through there. The problem is that now I can't play the music through the music section. I can only play the music through the Browser section. What the hell is going on with my MP3 player and why the hell can't I access the music through the music section? I hope someone can understand what I just said. I can't really explain it too well. The MP3 player I'm using is an iRiver H10 5GB model. Cheers. |

Hmm... well, I am currently taking the music off of the MP3 player and then re-uploading them. It's working as far as I can tell.
Yup. I've wasted 2 and a half hours (it's 2:30AM where I'm at) just re-uploading everything back on to my MP3 player. At least things are working now, I hope. Goddamn, I hate having classes early in the morning. Cheers.
