Radeon 9800 pro Video Driver Question or some such

Ok, I just put a new hard drive in my computer to replace the old one. The first thing I do is install guild wars. I get a message when it tries to start the game that says "failed to initialize 3d output" It says I need to install direct x 8 or better, which I have. The help link tells me to make sure ive done the following "Please verify that you have installed DirectX 8 and an updated video driver" I dont know how to update my video driver. I havent installed any software related to my videocard since Ive installed the new hard drive. I have a ATI Radeon 9800 pro.

Ive also tried to install half life 2 since then thinking it might of been gw being a bitch, but Half Life 2 wont even launch. Is this due to the fact that I havent installed drivers for my video card? Help me please.

You need to click on "Catalyst 6.3" and then you can download your driver from there.
