Word Processor Help (Meeting Gamefaqs Submission Requirements)

Okay, I'm trying to upload a FAQ onto Gamefags Gamefaqs. My file has been rejected a good number of times and I'm guessing it is due to the format it is laid out in. I need to get a processor that fits Gamefaqs' standards and can condense each line to 79 characters. I've tried manually snipping off at or short of 79 characters but it was a pain and impractical. Plus, it got rejected. I tried just typing it up in Notepad but it got jilted.

The vagueness of what they want is frustrating me >_> And I'd like to upload these Pro Action Replay codes to there for safe-keeping. And also for me to peek up at later use. Any Gamefaqs regulars who could help me out?

Cheers.
Hey, maybe you should try that thing Chie was talking about.

If you have Word, simply adjust the page margin on the right hand side so that it allows only 79 characters or less per line.

Ciao.

That'd be on page set-up?

I don't have word on this computer O_o; I thought I forgot to install something... Hum.

Cheers.

That would be the top ruler bar in the Word window. Also, nearly every other Word Processor (including WordPad that comes with Winodws XP) will also do this.

To go to WordPad, click Start -> Programs -> Accesories -> WordPad. Use the top center ruler to adjust the margin.

Ciao.

In order for this suggestion to work, you must be using a monospaced font. Courier New will do nicely.

Hmph. Slide rule is being retarded x_X I learned how to use this application and its damn ruler perfectly. But that was years ago. Notches on the far right aren't narrowing my margin at all **grumble** This'll take some grinding.

Ciao.

I moved the ones on the bottom. Didn't set a right handed margin. One on the top adjusts the left margin.

Ciao.
