Garmin Nuvi 260

Hello everyone,

Somebody just recently sold me a Garmin Nuvi 260 GPS device not to long ago. Problem is theirs a password on it and now I can't find the person who sold me the device. It turns on and the touch screen works but I can't do anything with it.

Is their a way to go around the passcode or a master reset for the device?

Any help would be appreciated.

It might be possible to do a factory reset via USB, I know my mom had to have hers reset at the store she bought it due to some weird sort of crashing issue.

Sounds to me like you bought a stolen one and are getting burned by it.
