Creating an autorun feature

I have a friend (computer illiterate) who would like me to help him get some drivers installed. I have the correct drivers, and rather than him bringing me his computer again, or me driving over there, I would love to burn it onto a disk. However, I think it would be difficult for him if it didn't autorun. Helping him over the phone is a little difficult as well because there is a language barrier. Plus, I'd really like to know how to do this anyway. There are plenty of other solutions to this problem, but this one is the coolest... and educational for me. Thanks.

Cheers.

Well the complexity pretty much rides on the question: "Are the driver packages all executables?"

Ciao.

Ya, let's assume it's an executable (I'm not at home to check make sure).

All you need to do is to create an autorun.inf file pointing to the file you want to autorun, and burn that to CD.

Details.

Ciao.

Seems easy enough, not sure why it isn't working.

Other than Autorun being disabled, I don't see why this should not automatically start cjb640EN.exe.

Can you try using ShellExecute?

Ciao.
