Alice in Chains is touring again? WTF.

So yeah. I just found out that AiC is touring again. Something about this seems wrong.

WHAT COULD IT BE?

Oh yeah, it's that Layne's dead, and as much as I'd love to see these concerts, heroin rock without the terrifyingly depressed/extremely open heroin addict frontman won't be right. Plus they're touring with someone that I don't care about/can't be arsed to remember who.

Gold Eyes with Flecks of Green

Because without her I am only revolutions of ruin.

Only Revolutions is the newest novel by the author of House of Leaves, Mark Z. Danielewski. It tells the story of two teenagers who are forever sixteen. They're the archetypical young tragic lovers; they meet and are forced apart by death.

Danielewski did it again to me; I cared about these kids, but didn't realize it until the last line of the book. More subtle than the effect that House of Leaves had on me, but beautiful, nonetheless. The man is an architect of words, and the poetry in the book works better than one thinks at the start.

Highly enjoyable; recommended reading from wvlf.

So, when is this going to be done? Instead of Spinnaz, which DON'T STOP, we need to see car things like this:

Also, what's up with Birth of a God? Seriously. It's hideously overshadowed by the much more crap/fanboy loved OWA. It's like Nobuo decided to stretch his prog-rock muscle and did it so much better than much of Motoi's stuff.

One thing about SAUS:

Those of you who bitch when a VGM arrange track shows up about how "WE HAVE A CONTEST FOR THAT"

NO WE DON'T. Arranges are never allowed in best VGM song, otherwise you'd see me voting more Sakuraba. I mean, HELL, Diss. When the one with my ACTUAL VGM tune showed up (that's still j-rock from a Game as opposed to something in-game) you bitched about how they were BOTH VGM when the other one was a "remix" that had no recognizable tune from the original game. Hell it had no tune at all. If you were going to bitch, then vote the arrange, even if it's crap. Same thing about Katamari; the soundtrack is based more around SONGS than loops. I'd think Katamari stuff would be rather a nice fit for the SAUS.

Saying this to preempt people bitching when the rock arrange of Tina's Theme shows up.
