Went to the show last night here in Raleigh. Haven't been to a live WWE event in about 10 years now so things have definitely changed but it was still pretty fun.

Spoiler:
After RAW went off the air they had an 'unannounced main event' which was a non title match between CM Punk and Batista which lasted for about 2 minutes with Batista taking the quick win. I dunno if they ran out of airtime or if they usually do that now, but my friend and I were pretty confused.

And the car thing was just lame. Just lame.

They usually have a dark match after a show goes off the air. It's usually to help test out main events for upcoming pay per views and a way that the wrestlers can prepare for the PPV match by practing spots and bumps. They did it with Smackdown one time having Stone Cold come down and give some stunners to Kurt Angle (this was in 2002) and then Austin having beer with fans (he spilt beer on me and that was awesome. AWESOME)

Spoiler:

So...after roughly three years, I got to FINALLY watch some WWE on television like a 'normal' person. YES!

Anyway, yeah, Cena was kinda MIA after the JBL thing. Whoops. Maybe that will be part of the angle though...with JBL's facial expression being shocked Cena got out of the way. It would also make sense as um, if you have a guy laido ut in front of a car, and ram another car full force into the guy, that would pretty much be it for him. I mean, when Hogan crashed his car into Rock's, there was the POSSIBILITY that The Rock would have been OK. but this time it was totally head-on.

And Beth was defintely going to become the new Chyna. I mean...Glamazon?

Spoiler:

For those wondering, WWE.com confirmed last night that John Cena was able to "escape" the car attack from JBL with only minor scratches. So, he isn't dead and will be wrestling this Sunday at Great American Bash against JBL in the New York City Parking Lot Brawl. On a side note, the latest edition of Wrestling News Live with myself and the Trey Dawg looking at last night's Raw and more is up at this link.

So, prediction time:

Edge Vs Triple H: I see this scenario. Vickie gets revenge on Edge by allowing...the Dead Man to come back. Taker beats the crap out of Edge, leading to a DQ win for Edge. There will be a confrontation between Taker/Trips that will lead to their match at Summerslam.

Punk Vs Batista: Punk wins it thankst o interference by Kane. Batista will dominate a good bit, but Punk will keep coming back. Punk might even hit a GTS only for him not tocover immediatley and get a two count. Kane though will come in and look like he is giong for Punk but instead goes for Batista for beating him a few weeks back/getting in his way a week ago. This will start a Batista/Kane feud.

Diva title: Natalie will win it. Why is this title replacing the CW title?

Tag title match: Champs retain.

Y2J Vs HBK: Jericho by DQ. HBK will go nuts with, say, a chair, costing himself the match. This iwll lead to a No-DQ match or such later on.

Mark Henry Vs Tommy Dreamer: Henry.

JBL Vs Cena: JBL has lost match after match against Cena. Furthermore, he couldn't even get some heat back with the whole car thing (Cena moved out of the way). JBL gets it here but the feud isn't over as Cena will carry the fight onto the next PPV where the winner gets a shot atthe world title.

Matt Vs Shelton: Mattitude wins it.

I'm just going to agree with everything mortis has said for the predictions and base mine off of his. Except for the Diva's title.

Diva title: Everyone loses via DQ causing the Diva title to die and the CW title to be revived.

I seriously think Helms will come back soon bringing the title back with him cause lets face it, once he was out with that neck injury, the title kinda stopped being entertaining for me.

Additional Spam:
Spoiler:
Okay, with Hardy losing the US title you know they're going to put Matt and Jeff back together. Right now, WWE would be stupid to keep them apart considering how much of a reaction they get.

Not to mention the whole "Brand Split" with SD! and ECW being able to talent swap, it'll be nice to see the Hardys vs. Hawkins and Ryder (who beat the Miz and Morrison, which was a shock))

More crap
Spoiler:
Ya know...usually after PPV's I can see where things are going but damn...this is just making it hard

You know, I've been reading up some on the whole Kane angle and I think I agree with some of the people on this. I wonder if the "is he alive or dead" doesn't just mean Paul Bearer but maybe
Spoiler:
Kane returning to his old mask with Paul Bearer helping him in his way
Maybe start a feud with Taker on Raw for that.

Wow...tonight's Raw was just meh. I mean, Shane and Steph last week said they would be taking action if things didn't shape up last Monday. They were nowhere to be found tonight, which means we have to wait until next Monday to find out.

Ya'll know good 'ol willy regal will be back.

I'd be in heaven if Heyman got a job again, but that'll never happen.

But I think its kinda funny how they're trying to get Batista heel and WWE is really not doing that great of a job.

Additional Spam:
Spoiler:
And the last vein of ECW (the original ECW title) has just bled out.

Although the new title looks kinda awesome

Yeah...but we'd all be fired because we'd

A) Turn Cena heel and have him rap
B) Take the strap off HHH

I wouldn't mind A, but why B? I may not watch Smackdown but I'm pretty sure that strap is better on HHH than it would be on Edge.
