I haven't been following wrestling for quite a while, but I just heard that Mick Foley is going to TNA and I have to know what the hell that is all about about? He seemed like a guy would who would remain WWE guy forever. Did they piss him off or something?
Here..this might put it in more of a perspective.

Freddie Prinze Jr or however you spell his name is part of the creative team on Smackdown.

Foley was on Smackdown.

Nuff said.

Actually...:
Foley's contract was up and he decided not to renew. In reality, as Mick said, its good for business. And in reality it his. WWE is going to have to put together more shows and not this pre-adolescent lets have Cena run around kind of Bullshit. I mean the opening to RAW was probably one of the best I've seen in some time, part of the reason is that I like Shane O Mac and definitely wish he was big on RAW.

Smackdown is slowly getting better and right now, I put that show over RAW because you have A) Two EXTREMELY good commentators. And its less bullshit whining and you have a very balanced mix of high-flyers (Jeff Hardy, Kendrick, Chavito are a few I can name) Good high-fly, ground and pound mixes (R-Truth, Shelton Benjamin) Good stay on the ground and fight (Kozlov, MVP) and then the big men, Taker and Show.

RAW Question:
Is it me...or are they trying to turn Orton Face...I mean when he came out during the opening, he got a HUGE pop from the crowd.

Basically, Vince has fucked him over and over in the recent years. The last straw for him was that he was supposed to be involved in the Taker/Edge Hell in the Cell because of it being the anniversary of his and Taker's HitC match, then LOLVINCE decided to have him wrote out of it after the beating Edge gave to him on Smackdown. Nail. Coffin. DONE. Foley's in TNA now on a limited contract but may end up staying if he likes it.

Also I want to see: Stone Cold Charlie Haas and/or THE HAAS

Which I have to say that I'm lovin Santino more and more. With his "Baptista" and that Honky Tonk meter is comedy gold, which makes me wonder if Honky Tonk Man is going to show up at some point.

Really? I remember reading reports that Foley didn't like where he was going and being used on Smackdown and didn't feel the commentator thing worked for him.

The whole Hell in the Cell thing basically was just what drove it to being done. He didn't like the commentary aspect because Vince would keep yelling in the headset at him as if he were doing a poor job or something. I dunno though, I just know he'd be better off in TNA... if TNA would get off their ass and stop being Total Nonstop Gimmick wrestling.

Totally. Read Kurt Angles Interview lol.

He was saying that TNA is the future if they just stick to simple wrestling. Forget the hoarding of gimmicks.

And then he was also saying that he was getting angry with TNA trying to protect him by having run ins. He said that in the Joe-Angle-Christian match, he wanted Joe to kick his ass and not have a run in and that the Jarrett run in was a bit annoying to him.

TNA back in 2005 was awesome. You had very few Gimmicks, just the ones that the stables used. But you had Kaz, Chris Daniels, AJ Styles and Jarrett. No real over the top gimmicks but just sick-awesome entertainment.

It doesn't matter...seeing DX for one night brings back good memories.

Also, The Great Charlie. XD Haas has really entertained me the past few weeks with his gimmick. I think it was amazing that Khali got some applause and cheers too.

Yeah watching those Kurt Angle promo's takes me back. You just dont see that kind of entertainment anymore. Also, I just was watching some of my old ppv dvd's. Backlash 2000 really took me back. I miss when WWE pay per views were entertaining to watch all the way through.

Hey! Prediction time!

Rey Mysterio vs. Kane - If Mysterio loses, he must unmask. We've already seen this happen in WCW, so why the hell do we need to see it again? Kane will just get angry during the match because of Rey's persistence and start using a chair on him.

Winner: Rey Mysterio by DQ

Women's Championship Match Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle

Well it seems Candice finally made it back this time without getting injured again. However, I don't think she should return with the gold just yet.

Winner: Beth Phoenix by pinfall

Big Show vs. Undertaker

I really need to start following Smackdown since some of my favorite superstars are on there. Um...yeah, no way Taker is gonna lose here.

Winner: Undertaker by submission

#1 Contender's Match Batista vs. JBL

Well this one has been building up for quite some time, but I don't think there's any way that JBL will win here. If he did, that would definitely show that Jericho wouldn't face him.

Winner: Batista by pinfall

ECW Championship Match Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry

I don't follow ECW, but I expect Mark Henry to destroy Hardy here.

Winner and new champion: Mark Henry by pinfall

WWE Championship Match Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy

The last match I saw between these two was just so damn good. However, with the way Smackdown has been going on lately...that damn Russian guy will interfere and attack both combatants, thus resulting in a no contest.

Winner: Double DQ

World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels

This is without a doubt the match of the year. I think it's obvious that Cade will cause some interference. A code breaker isn't going to end this, nor is sweet chin music.

Winner and new champion: Shawn Michaels

Speaking of really good matches, I went back at watched Shane McMahon vs. Kurt Angle in a Street Fight from King of the Ring 2001. That was a really nasty fall Shane took when Angle suplexed him at the glass, but it didn't break and Shane landed right on his head. Just the sound the impact made...damn.

My predictions:

Kane Vs Rey Rey: Vince had Rey put his mask back on despite being taboo in Mexico (as in people booing Mysterio out of the building and rioting). Furthermore, Rey was offered (and turned down) a lucrative contract from AAA that was in the millions. Finally, Rey makes Vince al ot of money with the mask. Hence, Rey wins, sorta like Matt Hardy did against Kane years ago (quick roll up).

Phoenix vs Candice: candice finally makes her return. She though doesn't have the same momentum as before. Phoenix will get the duke here.

Show Vs Undertaker - Taker chokes Show out. Show though will go on to face Triple H (and beat him).

Batista Vs JBL - Batista wins. JBL's return has been a joke. I so forsee him going back to Smackdown! in next years draft to reclaim his former glory.

Hardy Vs Henry - Hardy wins via Twist of Fate on a chair, steel steps or something.

Triple H Vs Hardy - Back and forth, with Triple H getting the duke. Russian guy will cost Hardy the win, and there will be some tension betwen Trips and Hardy but still a handshake.

Jericho Vs HBK - Cade will cost HBK the title.

My predictions:

Kane Vs Rey Rey: Like Mortis said, Vince wanted Rey to come back with the mask so it would be dumb for vince to have mysterio take the Mask off. I honestly feel sorry for both Rey and Kane considering WWE Creative can't come up with anything better.

Phoenix vs Candice: Candice will lose due to Santana interfering.

Show Vs Undertaker - Taker wins. Possibly Chavo costing show the match.

Batista Vs JBL - Batista wins. I'm pretty sure I heard JBL wanting to come back to help put some of the younger guys over. (IE 3 losses to CM Punk) JBL is a huge heel, easiest way to become a major face is to be a huge rebel against JBL.

Hardy Vs Henry - Henry and Hardy go to a no contest/some kind of DQ and for some reason, I just want to say some kind of big star makes their return with an impact made during the match.

Triple H Vs Hardy - I see Kozlov having some huge involvement in this match, but what I think might happen is HHH pedigrees Hardy then Kozlov hits, Trips hops out and then gets headbutted without the ref seeing thus a countout. Damnit...HHH needs his own custom belt!

Jericho Vs HBK - HBK wins with Cade inadvertently costing Jericho the title (Jericho climbs the ladder, Cade gets hit into it and knocks jericho off. SCM to Cade and Michaels wins.

While it's not something I'm really all that used to doing, I'll jump in and make predictions:

Kane Vs. Mysterio - Unlike everyone here, I really didn't know Vince's main purpose for bringing him back, so I'm just gonna go along with what y'all have said and say that Mysterio will win. How he'll win I won't predict just yet.

Candice Vs. Phoenix - Haven't really been paying attention to any Diva shit lately, so I really don't care. But, for the hell of it, I'll just say that Candice wins, just to see if Phoenix starts beating Santino like a bitch and steals his title, since he didn't exactly "win" it.

Show Vs. Taker - I wanna say that Undertaker's gonna take this one, but I also have this feeling that, while highly unexpected by anyone, that Vladamir will actually interfere in this match (not saying he won't in the HHH/Hardy), because his whole angle is "looking for a "chillenge (intended typo)"", and who better to possibly give him a "chillenge" than Taker or Show.

Basically, if not a Taker win, then a Double DQ

Batista Vs. JBL - We've all pretty much agreed that JBL won't have another title run, so really, no arguments here that Batista will win.

Henry Vs. Matt Hardy - The only real way I can see Matt win this is if Atlas tries to interfere but fucks up, or if the ref gets knocked out and Matt resorts to some use of a weapon.

Not that I want this, but I'm thinking Henry will get his title back.

HHH Vs. Jeff Hardy - It's been said that Vladamir will interfere and cause a Double DQ. However, should that not happen, I see HHH taking it, but barely.

Jericho Vs. HBK - Cade will eventually stop kissing Jericho's ass at some point in time, but I seriously don't know if it'll happen in this match. Now, it has been stated that he could "accidentally cost Jericho the title, which would not be a bad thing. Frankly, since this whole feud with Michaels started, I haven't really liked Jericho's attitude.

I'm gonna predict and pull for HBK winning this thing, either with or without the "help" of Cade, just so we can have either Orton, Cade, or Batista get in his face some more about how the only reason he even got in the scramble and won was because Orton took Punk out.

Hell, have Punk interfere and cost Jericho the title. I don't fucking care. Just take it off Jericho. Plus, he's got nothing going on for him during the PPV.

I actually have to disagree with you on this part.

Jericho has been doing a very beautiful job of drawing A LOT of heat and because he's a Vet, he knows how to do it really well.

When you look at the RAW roster of heels, this is who you have.

Jericho
JBL
Cody Rhodes
Ted DiBiase JR
Manu
Regal
Burchill
Kane
Snitsky
Cade
Marella

Burchill is getting extremely underused having lost to Jamie Noble (not taking anything away from Noble)

Snitsky hasn't been seen on TV since that disaster of a match with Marella.

Marella is just a comic heel.

Kane...is getting fucked over big time because he makes a hell of a better face than he does a heel, but since Orton is out right now Kane is one of the other RAW roster heels.

Regal has been put in some bizzare as program, probably because he might need some time to heal a bit.

Cade's just kissing Jericho's ass.

Rhodes/DiBiase/Manu are mainly trying to keep the Tag Team division alive. I'd have rather WWE threw Manu over to SD and have him go with Umanga. But if you look on RAW there are what...two tag teams. Rhodes/DiBiase, Cryme Tyme.

JBL can draw heat, we all know that. And we also know that he's helping put guys over.

So that leaves us with one person.

Mr. Chris Jericho. Maybe its me but I like his cocky snide attitude especially against HBK...and thinking about it, it is sometimes true where HBK can do some of the most heelish things and get Cheered. Think back to when he gave Hogan the SCM, sure some of the crowd booed but I remember quite a few cheers too.

But this side of Jericho is really good especially because it at least gives more faces the chance to face him than faces against heels. Plus, Jericho knows how to take getting booed and just completely ignore it...kinda.

Jericho goes by the old philosphy of you gotta pretend that what you think is right, no matter how far off it is. You believe it so much that you feel all others are wrong. Of course, some of his comments about HBK are true (faking his knee injury for instance) which adds that more of a twist to his character.
