[Sports] WWE/TNA thread

So let's keep up with the TNA/WWE scene here. Remember, mark spoilers for Raws, Smackdowns and PPVs.

NEWS:

Bret Hart, Mean "WHOOOOOOO BY GOD" Gene and Eddie Guerrero are 3 inductees so far. Others will include Tony Atlas and some tag team.

Wrestlemania is around the corner, let's get discussing on what's gonna happen.

Main event for WrestleMania will be good. Orton v Angle v Mysterio. I know it's doubtful, but I'm hoping for a Mysterio win in this one.

Well, if I'm remembering correctly, Raw doesn't air in Australia till like Fridays (it could be Wed?) and some people (like myself) don't get Smackdown until Saturdays nights.

I'd say to be safe, Sat/Sun on the previous week Raws for spoilers and Sunday/Monday for Smackdowns.

Honestly, the card for WrestleMania so far is a bit sub-par compared to previous WrestleManias. Sure, you got your title matches: Cena vs. Triple H (I'll be damn surprised if Cena retains) and the Triple Threat (shows that the WWE isn't confident in Rey being in a one-on-one title match at a WrestleMania) HBK vs. Vince, and MITB. Edge vs. Foley? I'm not expecting much. There aren't any interpromotional matches, which were supposed to be one of the main staples of WrestleMania since the brand split.

In any case, i'll still be watching it.

Man, I forgot about Cena v Triple H. That should be good. Hopefully HBK v Vince should be a solid match too, though I'm not holding out for anything spectacular.

I'll also be watching, as it's really the only PPV I believe is worth the moolah.

So far the card for Wrestlemania looks damn entertaining. Vince and Shawn is what I would be looking forward to.

Then again I haven't watched wrestling in months, but it looks to me as if it would great to watch. Rey in a world title match at a big event looks great also. I wish I would keep up with what is going on, but I always have something else happening.

You don't know that Angle is going to be in the triple threat match yet, he still has to beat Undertaker to be in the triple threat match.

Spoiler:
Angle retained the the title when Mark Henry interfered in the match on this week's Smackdown.

The MitB match, even though from the looks only to be a Triple Threat ladder match, will have RVD in it. RVD + ladder matches = GOLD.

The card looks really good so far, I still wanna really see a Taker match though. He needs to be champion once more before he retires, even if just for a little bit.

Also: GIVE KANE THE FUCKING TITLE.

Actually I think there is going to be 3 more matches for it...a triple threat ladder match would be pretty boring.

And how about Jarret for finally dropping the title. It's interesting to see how Christian jumps from WWE to TNA and gets what he finally deserves.

Even more interesting is the fact that both Christian and Joe are still undefeated in NWA-TNA. That means all singles champs in NWA-TNA are undefeated. I wonder how often that has happened.

Good for Christian BTW.

Everyone wants to see HHH with the title, and I agree. Hopefully HHH retires Cena at Wrestlemania.

Talk is Goldberg is possibly joining TNA. Of course, Ultimate Warrior made an article on his webpage that he wouldn't mind going to TNA (if they paid him enough) and that he'd want to work with Goldberg in a series of matches/storyline.

I hate Ultimate Warrior and everything he stands for. I just wish he'd die already.

I would much prefer to see Angle with the WWE championship than the World Heavyweight championship.

It's strange how much difference a year makes, a year ago everyone wanted the title off of Triple H...then everyone claimed hed have it back in a month or two, LOL

You know who I haven't seen with the WWE Title in a while? I'd think that they should let HBK have a shot at the gold.

I just don't get it anymore. People wanted the title off HHH so badly at Mania last year. Now, they want it BACK on him? Same old Triple H people, same promos, same wrestling, same old stuff we saw in 2004, 2003, and to a degree 1999.
