So, who saw S03E04 o.O?

I almost thought Adama was history >.<

I've just started watching this show with Season 3 since I just got cable. I have to say the effects sequences and ship scenes are impressive.

But it's scenes like the Colonel walking off at the end of last night's episode that really make the show...

Bit bloody brilliant wasn't it?.

Anyways, with Pegasus now gone ( You showed them toasters girl!) then the crew's could become a fair bit interesting. I mean, Who'll be XO now seeing as how Helo was the Galactica XO, but then there's Lee and Saul (Saul'll be majorly screwed up though so I doubt he'll be doing anything for a while).
I doubt that Starbuck'll be CAG either. She hasn't flown in, what, a year? And Lee won't become CAG due to the fact he can't fit in the damned cockpit. So that means Kat'll be CAG still. Heh, seeing Kara take orders from Kat. That'd be good.

The only way I can see it playing out for a while is for Lee to become XO, Helo going back to what he was before (possibly CAG if Raptor pilots can become CAG's), Saul sat in a pub, maybe military liason to the government (the guy could do with a desk job for a while) and Starbuck'll get bumbed down to regular pilot.

Also, has anyone got a clue as to how this rumoured Cylon virus comes about? If not, I'm saying it's Baltar (I'm calling it dammit!) and he uses it to get back into the fleets good graces. He can't stay with the Cylons forever, afterall.

I haven't heard anything about a Cylon virus, but it's quite possible that Baltar will stay with the Cylons. In the original series he commanded Cylon fleets from the deck of a Basestar, and I thought this was a good way to put him back into that position.

I was a bit scared he was history since I like his character. I wouldn't have minded if Lee died, though I suppose that would be epic in some way. One of my friends did hear/read something about a major character dying by episode 4. I can't really think of anyone "major" other than Ty's wife, or maybe that Cylon baby's fake mama. I originally was thinking Mr. Gaeda was gonna be it. Plus I wasn't sure if they were considering last episode to be episode 4 and call the premiere just one episode. Who knows? O_o Just gotta watch.

One of the best hours of TV I've seen in awhile. I feel almost spoiled between this and Heroes, both of which make a great beginning and end to the work week.

tbh, I was watching the ending of Ep4 and I was just going "Come on, show us if it's the cylon half breed or not, shows us the dead step mom!" And they just nicely sweeped the camera a few feet above the groud facing upwards and not showing us if it really was the cylonic baby or not >.<, then sadly came the bad news right before the end of the episode >.<

I'm also wondering, did Ty's wife just got abandoned or was she like put to sleep and then "taken care of" :ninja: style.

I am sooo waiting till the series gets released in HD and then buying all the new seasons

She was "taken care of" at the beginning of the episode. He poisoned her drink and killed her then, silently and with no pain.

Ok, I just finished watching the season premiere, and hopefully will be watching three and four sometime tonight. The end of the premiere is intense... and the way I have been reading these posts, its only geting better. (I tried not to read all of the spoilers.)

I'd love to see that happen. I think his character is fit to become Adama's antithesis (of sorts).

Good lord, episode 4 has been awesome. Most probably the best TV series episode I've seen in ages. I definitely like how - instead of Lost, which has been quite disappointing so far in my opinion - BSG is getting better and better, because it's actually going somewhere. Also, good thing Adama Sr. got rid off his moustache and Jr. is losing some weight

As of episode 6, Apollo LOST THE FAT SUIT. WORLDS OF YES.

Yeah, I thought the current season didn't have much direction to go after leaving New Caprica [aside from finding Earth], but they proved me once again. Sticking Baltar on the Cylon Baseship, and the introduction of the Cylon virus... Totally awesome. I hope they continue to please the crowd through the entire season.

Also-- Giving Sharon the callsign 'Athena'? Best move ever. I love it.
