Going to the Penguins last home game tonight of the regular season against the Criers.
I will take pride joining in on the FUCK THE FLYERS chant tonight for sure. |
Ahahaha... Laraque knocked off Rowdy Riley Cote's fucking HEAD. That was -awesome-.

Goddamnit, Marty Brodeur can be fucking frustrating. Luckily so is Timmy the Tugboat Thomas the Tank Engine.
Fucking goddamn Devils. Oh. My. God. Crosby tip between the legs, back of the net. The kid isn't human.

God damn it, I'm never around when the thread picks up again.
8-2 against Toronto. Well I'd live to think we're back on track but I can't for the life of me put my faith on a team that has so harshly declined in the last 3ish months. AND the nasty, not to mention dirty hit Alfredsson got will most likely keep him out for the rest of the season. I am quite convinced that it was an intentional hit, he was looking right at him when he went for it. Either way, it looks like it's going to be a very short playoff run for us this year. Not that we didn't see it coming at all or anything. ![]() |

Ugh, Nashville is in the playoffs for sure, and Vancouver is now out. Who wants to watch Nashville in the playoffs?
And even worse, Detroit will probably face Nashville, which is one team they haven't done well against this season. There's a lot of stuff in the air regarding placement over the next couple days, and I'm eager to see how that turns out. Most teams are already in playoff mode now, so those games should be exciting to watch. ![]() |

Good lord, the NHL must have read my predictions and said, "You know what? LET'S DO THE OPPOSITE." Carolina's losing, Philly's winning, Boston's winning...and I didn't say anything about the Rangers but I thought they'd be winning and they're not.

I can't believe Carolina lost that game. The penalties were 9-0 for Florida too.
Well, any points for Washington, and they take the division. Considering how Washington was dead last in the NHL two and half months in, this will be a crazy turn around if they finally complete it. ![]() |

Well, with the Penguins loss to the Flyers just now, here are the Eastern Conference seedings:
#1 Montreal Canadiens vs. #8 Boston Bruins #2 Pittsburgh Penguins vs. #7 Ottawa Senators #3 Washington Capitals vs. #6 Philadelphia Flyers #4 New Jersey Devils vs. #5 New York Rangers Montreal vs. Boston will be entertaining, but I don't think the Bruins have a chance at all. I would be scared of the Senators but they're missing Daniel Alfredsson so that shouldn't be as tough a matchup as usual. I think Washington will cruise through the Flyers and the Devils won't have much issue with the Rangers. The Western Conference will be decided later tonight, but all that's to be decided is who will be seeds 5-7. |

Wow, Montreal actually finished first in the conference. Go Habs! This city is going to be ridiculous when the playoffs start...

Here's the Western Conference playoff tree:
#1 Detroit Red Wings vs. #8 Nashville Predators #2 San Jose Sharks vs. #7 Calgary Flames #3 Minnesota Wild vs. #6 Colorado Avalanche #4 Anaheim Ducks vs. #5 Dallas Stars Knowing little to nothing of the Western Conference, I see no reason the top four teams can't win their series, with the exception of what I will anticipate to be a competitive Wild/Avalanche series. |
