I have now uploaded Portishead (as promised), and I edited the post about two minutes ago to include a Boards of Canada EP that I bought. It's quite good, and I would strongly recommend giving both albums a listen.

![]() Nevermind, Admara got to it already. ![]()

I grabbed Nas' Hip Hop is Dead, the full album, leaked a few weeks early. This shit is HOT. I'm currently uploading it for you.

i come bearing things that are girly and cute (but i make no excuses).
hopefully in the future i won't be making anyone wonder if it's possible to need fillings in your ear canals. this space for rent.

Forget about the Nas upload. I'll put the high quality release in the MEC thread when I get it. A low quality rip is currently available in my journal.

![]() Also, guys... I suggest you start paying attention to this new member Artax. He doesn't post at all so he confines all his music sharing to his journal but he's got some damn fine pieces in there. He asked me to post his latest share in the club for him here. Please make sure he feels right at home here. |

I know I've been delaying it after people like Moon and Yama have asked for it, but I've finally made my massive Sonic Youth post in the Club, so all of you crazy people enjoy what I've offered! If you're new to the band, I'd suggest going for Sister last and working in reverse order, or asking me to re-upload Daydream Nation, which I will gladly do (and link you to the original post).

In addition to all of the records that the good Admiral uploaded, if you're new to the band I'd also recommend checking out the band's 1992 record Dirty, which has been reissued in a great two disc package with lots of bonus material.

Sonic Youth is probably the most influential rock band of the late 80's and early 90's. They're pretty much responsible for the "grunge" genre; something which is sadly attributed to bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. While I have nothing against Nirvana or Pearl Jam myself I can't help but think that they were criminally underrated.
I have all their albums up until Made In USA on CD and the rest I'm pretty sure I have in digital form, so if the good Admiral can't find time to upload them, let me know and I'll do so in his place.

And sure, more Sonic Youth comin' up in the next week and a half. |

So . . . why not either Happy with What You Have to Be Happy With or Power to Believe? Or Thrak, for chrissakes.
