Yeah, so I don't check these threads enough at all .

Getting a few things...Synchestra (and not just because the album cover is my background at the moment) and Portishead, because I love "All Mine" and would like to hear the rest. If you wouldn't mind re-upping SNZ's Hot, Ence, I would appreciate it .

I think I'm going to upload something soon-ish...if anyone is familiar with Juan Garcia Esquivel (usually just 'Esquivel'), I'm going to put some of his stuff up here. I'm kind of busy until next week (which will be busy as well), but I'll get around to it.

No problem. If you ever DO find that soundtrack please post that. I looked for it for a while too but I gave up that search.

Sure thing. Here you go. I updated the post too, but what's the point? It's already here anyway.

I upped Elf Fatima's first album a few days ago, if anyone's interested. I acquired their other album today and will hopefully up it overnight.

Interestingly enough, I found the damn thing later that day. I'll post it on the weekend probably.

Well shit, man... If you're THIS good of a musical bloodhound I've also been looking for the soundtrack for Bound By Honor too. I can't find it ANYWHERE.

Apparently wvlfpvp made a Last.fm group for the GFF Music Exposure Club! <3

However, guess what? Half of you fuckers aren't on it and it's a situation that we must address immediately. Be there or be square~

Uploaded my first album to MEC, but hopefully not my last! The sound of the album is anything new, but I reckon it's catchy and not a bad listen.

So, I was checking the 303s page for new songs, and someone compared them to Lush, so, guess what I did. I got Spooky. And since I'm the only one at home for a while, I upped it. Enjoy.

Hey MetheGelfing, I'd love to hear that record you posted, but savefile.com is giving me some real shit - we're talking <1kbps download speeds. Any chance of getting it upped at a different filehost?

If he doesn't get around to it, I can upload it for you somewhere else too, I'm getting great speeds off that hosting service. Well... At least by free hosting speed standards. (48-65 kbps)

Well, as long as someone does. That review had peaked my interest.

As a sidenote, last month Megaupload was giving me 400-600 kbps every time I used it, but now they're back to the 30-50 average. Weird stuff.

Additional Spam:
All right, never mind. After a handful of tries over a few days it finally gave in and let me download the thing. Good stuff.

Hey, Yama, I finally got that Air album I promised uploaded. Any of you who haven't listened to Talkie Walkie yet, I really think you ought to.

Amara, I recently found a copy of Air's Pocket Symphony which comes out this March. Interested?

Additional Spam:
You beat me to it, Ence. I advise everyone download Congotronics as quickly as possible. What a record.

Also, if you like that, be on the look out for the compilation "Congotronics 2" which features a bunch of obscure artists in the same vein as Konono No. 1.

It's rumored that Konono No. 1 have something like 50 self-released albums in Africa that are all but impossible to find.

Capo, my white brother, you hit the nail on the head with that Sound Tribe Section 9 joint. That album is fucking amazing.

I just saw it on Oink a couple of days ago, I'll snag it as soon as possible. They're also going to be at Coachella this year, so I'm looking forward to that as well.

Man, what a collection that must be. They've been around for 25 years so it makes sense that they have many more albums than what's digitally available. They're still an amazingly resourceful bunch and their music reflects that in raw form.
