Probably Ocean Breathes Salty by Modest Mouse. Not only is it one of my favorite songs ever, but the tone and feel of the song reflects the way I am.

The live version of "Orange Claw Hammer" by Captain Beefheart with Zappa doing guitar. This was done live in studio for the "An Evening With Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart" radio show (later bootlegged). Van Vliet is a lyrical madman.

I'd have to say Band Confrontation from the Space Channel 5 Soundtrack. It starts out mysterious for the first few seconds, then it becomes exciting and then predictable due to repetition style of the song. Much like me.

Bonus points for it having been my favourite song for about a year and topping off my play count with having the highest play count recorded in my ITunes.

I'd say "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes. (Don't let the name fool you, listen to the song).

That, and a remix of a FF song I've been addicted to for a while now, called "Via Purifico". It just seems to embody me in an instrumental.

X Ray Dog's "Imperial Force" is one that I honestly like. Other would be God of the Evil Ones from the Legaia 2: Duel Saga soundtrack.

Other feats would be "Skyward Fire" from Unreal Tournament and "Bridge Fight" from Painkiller.

"Move yourself

"Owner of a lonely heart (much better than an)
Owner of a broken heart"

So, yeah, I know that song. It was their only #1 single.

Currently, "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk. As well as this song in reverse. Good stuff.

Right now, it has to be "Rise" by Origa. It's in Russian except the English chorus, and I don't know what it's saying for the most part, but I just get a galvanizing sense of urgency when I listen to it. It's also the opening song to the Ghost in a Shell second season.

My themesong? As in what best describes me?

As cheesy as it sounds, my themesong is "Feather" by Nujabes.

I'm sure it'll change in the future, but then again it's to be expected. People change, lives change and it's only a given that tastes change.

Hmmm...I'm going have to say that my current theme is Ballroom Blitz. Yes yes, I know I live in the past. Maybe it has to do with that Wayne's World marathon not to long ago...

"Feel a Fear" from Guilty Gear X Heavy Rock Tracks. I'd like to say "Holy Orders", but I'm not religious, so it doesn't fit too well.

If I were to pick a non-VGM song, it would be "Come Out And Play (Keep 'em Seperated" by The Offspring. Hey, it worked for old-school Raven...

My theme song changes often. Right now, it's definitely The Offspring's "Hit That." A song that's probably been more of a longterm theme for me is Blue Man Group's "Time to Start;" but for now, I know I want to hit that.

As it has always been, it always will be DVDA's "Now You're a Man". Owns.

The city of Fourside has developed quite a bit since Mr. Geldegarde Monotoli hit the big time.

I think I'm changing mine - it's either "Sleep" or track two of "motherfucker=redeemer" by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I seriously can't stop listening to the second one, it's just so good. It's incredibly absorbing, and the instrumental work is very tight, and the band plays in one of my favorite metres (7) and finds new ways of making it sound alternatingly natural and unnatural. I wish I could write like that. It's a very powerful movement, and I'm all on about it at the moment. Hell, I'm listening to it right now.

Mine tends to fluctuate from month to month, season to season, era to era, but right now it's "Just a Touch Away," which is credited to Trevor Jones on my iPod to avoid "musician clutter," but was likely written and performed by someone else. From the Dark City soundtrack.
