Indeed it is. This is my first time listening to Sodom. Took me awhile but I finally have a CD of theirs.

Haha, hey, as they say, better late then never.

Sodom was my first real exposure to thrash metal, I think. I was at this music shop (that specialized in metal and rock) and stumbled upon a tape of that album, thinking to myself "hey, this looks pretty good."

I asked the owner about it and he goes "best thrash album ever" and pops said tape into the cd/cassette player.

Needless to say, much headbanging ensued.

That Spawn of Possession album is ace.

I picked up a couple of CDs and a DVD at yesterday's gig (could have picked up more, but I was saving some cash):

HORSE the Band - A Natural Death
Halal/Hadhari - Kids Roar When Meet the Lion (Malaysian emo/screamo band)

And (a copy of) Nocturno Culto's "The Misanthrope" DVD. Which is a bit odd. Not sure if I like it. But, hey, kvlt as fvck Darkthrone rehearsal footage! Footage of forests! Uh... yeah.

Judas Priest: Turbo, British Steel, Electric Eye (DVD)
Iron Maiden: Seventh Son, Dance of Death
Gamma Ray: No World Order
Running Wild: Victory
Death Angel: New album (forgot name)
Slayer: Reign in Blood
Poison: Crack a Smile...And More
Dragonforce: Inhuman Rampage

Nice haul. Not used to getting so many discs compared to buying VGM. Still slowly filling out those discographies (that's it for Poison)

Eh, some recent Asian gets:

BENNIE K ~ "The New World" concert DVD. I'm addicted to BK, and I caught some footage from this show online and loved it.

YUI ~ "I Loved Yesterday" CD+DVD. My girlfriend, YUI, has a new album, and it's <3. I like the cover photo too... YUI-in-a-box.

Hikaru Utada ~ "HEART STATION" CD. Gotta get it since I've been a fan forever. It's a solid album. "Take 5" still throws me off though.

A few days ago I purchased "Inland Empire" for six dollars. Considering I'm a David Lynch fan, and hadn't seen it yet, It was a very good deal. I was initially turned away, as I had heard things like: "this movie's plot consists of nothing more then idea's Lynch had kicking around, etc." However once I saw it I was pleased, as it seemed like there was definitely a story, but as all Lynch films, it'll require multiple viewings before it becomes clear.

I guess that's why I was born, to recognize the beauty of a roses thorn

This week on Gamingforce: David Lynch gets more money.

Finally got a copy of Blue Velvet - odd considering it's probably the easiest of his movies to find (FUCK YOU LOST HIGHWAY) and yet it's among the last I've obtained. Still need Highway and The Straight Story. Highway must first see a release that doesn't suck (i.e. widescreen AND proper 5.1).

Also, LotR trilogy in widescreen for ~$20. Is that any good.

It's been a while since I posted here. I think if I posted here everytime I get something new...it'll probably be weekly. LOL :-D

Anyways latest purchase are:

Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, & The wardrobe BD. Liked the regular DVD version so decided to get it on BD. Any movie that I like I usually buy it on BD.

Next week picking up National Treasure 1 & 2 BD @ Target. Yes I know Amazon has both of them for 39.99 but have coupons to make it cheaper than on amazon.

I buy so few actual movies it's not even funny. And I never purchase music, other than the one time I got the Mother3i and Mother3+ soundtracks off of iTunes.

Anyway, the last movies I boug
