Good lord, why?

RE: Extinction was a miserable excuse for a zombie movie in general, and it's silly to pretend the series shares anything more than a few names with the games at this point. I finally tried watching it on TV a couple weeks ago and it was just one big quivering mass of stupidity. Having an army of Simrys sounds like the only way to make it worse, so good on them for finding a way. I laughed pretty hard at her sudden psychic powers in Extinction.

Cheers.

All of them have been subpar to be honest. The 3rd one wasn't as bad but it doesn't mean that it wasn't bad.

Ciao.

the 3rd one was weird
It started out pretty much in the middle of nothing, you didn't know how anyone ended up where they were, and they just were thrown about, I mean granted the shit that went down in that movie was badass, all the fighting, but it was off the wall and just thrown together. It's like, where's the kid? I thought the kid was like her, but I guess she's dead or something? Huh? The ending of the 2nd wasn't even explained, they just got in and out, it's like, how after the crash they had in that helicopter, did they go from having nothing to have all sorts of access points they didn't before and then go back to nothing? I'm really lost

I mean if the 3rd was like that, who's to say what the 4th will be like? And what's the point even? Save the world? Since when has Resident Evil ever ended in something "Good" always ended up in chaos! Wouldn't be a Resident Evil if it had a "Happy Ending"

Cheers.

It probably won't be great, but fans across the internet will still talk about it nonstop on how badly the movie is. The only decent one was the first one because it didn't really try to do much. It shared a few names and likeness with Resident Evil but nothing else. Once they started puttin characters and plot elements from the games into the movies, it all went downhill.

Wasn't expecting this:

Rumor: Sony plans to follow Resident Evil: Afterlife with reboot Resident Evil: Begins
----------
Why not have the new movie be a reboot? Why reboot at all?

Seriously? It's not a reboot.. it's the studio admitting they made a shitty movie and saying "we're sorry!!"

If they were sorry, they wouldn't make a fourth movie and threaten us with a fifth movie. In this case, admitting you messed up and still moving forward is like falling down a flight of stairs, breaking every bone in you body and than getting back up and falling down the stairs again. Just stop.

I thought the CG movie, 'Degeneration,' was pretty good for what it was. Certainly better than the live-action movies.

Why not just make the movies like that? I guess there's not as much money to be made, but at least they wouldn't be pissing off fans (as much).

Cheers.

Still on her Twitter page, the actress also shared about filming a fighting scene for the movie on Thursday morning. "Today we [are] shooting the big 'Wesker fight'! So it was really important to get our heads around what exactly would [be] happening," she wrote.

"The fight is Simry, Claire and Chris Redfield against super powerful Wesker. The moves r taken directly from RE5, a homage to the fans," Jovovich added. "Wow, this wesker set is sick!!!!! Hahahahahaha! It looks so amazing!!!! U guys r gonna flip out when u see it!"
I'm... slightly interested. And then again, slightly annoyed by the 'U' and 'R' stuff.
