I felt so sorry for that little kid since I have a niece thats around the same age.
What I found more disturbing were the comments I read from different video hosting sites.
"What a retarded baby"
"That kid deserved it for being there"
"why would he walk into that, how stupid"

Seriously , they're pointing out the ignorance of a 2 or 3 year old kid who got separated from a parent. The mother should have kept a better hold of the kid but to call the kid a "retard", come on. You might as well consider the movie Borat a "masterpiece".

Not funny imo :/

I had no idea what to expect, I found the sound effects cool, then when the kid came in I was 'holy shit! The poor kid'

Shenlon's right, many of the comments where made by retards, sure the mom should have kept a better watch on the child, but the kid was curious, she didn't know what was going to happen.

Pet me... you know you wanna.

My roommate, his friend, and I thought it was hilarious. Subsequently, my roommate's girlfriend slapped him. What the hell is wrong with you women.

Not gonna lie, I found it hilarious the first time I watched it. However, I was a bit concerned that from the video I'd originally seen, it didn't seem like anyone was rushing to get the kid when you could obviously see what was going to happen. Looking at the way the kid landed; I'm sure he/she(?) probably got pretty hurt.

I think it's probably funny for a lot of people because they don't know the kid and they can laugh at other people's misfortunes, I do the same thing. However, I know that if that was my little brother or sister that happened to, I'd be pretty freaked out.

Not funny at all. I would have a heart attack if that was my child. Just thinking about it is very upsetting.

The fact that other people find this amusing is sickening to me. There's schadenfreude and then there's just plain sadism.

No offense, but what the hell would your child be doing running out in the middle of a floor where there's obviously some dangerous activity going on?

I felt bad when I watched it the first time. Then I watched it a second time, laughed, and said "yea, where's that baby's mom."

They wouldn't. I was speaking from a purely hypothetical standpoint.

You can see her running to the child in a longer edit of the video. It makes you wonder what she was doing long enough to leave her kid unattended to in a place like in the TIMES SQUARE SUBWAY STATION. She's lucky all that happened to the kid was a knock on the noggin.

Did the kid deserve what happened? Probably not. But I bet the kid won't wander off like that again. Hell if it had been me at that age that did that shit 20+ years ago, my ass would have been worn out on top of getting hit like that.

Whew. I keep seeing that break dancing baby (not the one who got KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT) but the awesome dancing baby himself. Hilarious and cute all the same time, and yet awesome. Still that's pretty darn amazing!

I find it hilarious mostly, becasue of the Street Fighter sound effects, and the great timing on it. I will admit finding the situation overall amusing too though. Don't feel guilty about it either. If people got a issue with that then so be it. It is what it is.

Watching it slightly reminds me of playing DDR back in the day. Keep your child from stepping on the pad or he's gonna get stomped up. I do feel sorry for the child though, but I do want to slap the parents of the child for not keeping tabs on him/her. I can't tell. <_<

I find it amazing how quickly and easily you folks are willing to crucify the mother. Responses like these tell me that you all either don't have children or haven't been in the company of one that young for extended periods of time. The only way to keep toddlers 100% our of trouble is to carry them, put them on a leash, or lock them in a cage. Other than that there will forever be the occasional split-second when they get away and can get into possible mischief. For all you know the mother got a phone call, went to reach in her purse, and off runs the kid. Hell she could have so much as sneezed let's go of the kid's hand and then the child runs off. There are several other scenarios I can think of along these lines where it's not some monster of a parent.

By some of your standards I'm willing to bet that ALL of your parents suck as I'm sure that there was at least one moment that you got separated from them, burnt yourself, or hurt yourself when they should have been doing their damned job!

This instance just happens to be extreme and on video, but there isn't necessarily any more neglect here than what any other parent has experienced raising a child. Hell ask them, I'm sure they'll laugh and recall a story when you scared the shit out of them.

All of that said, I thought the video was hilarious. Usually when people add sound effects it makes them suck, but in this case they were spot on.
Nuts! Gotta get to Narshe on the fly...

I read the posts before I watched the video, and was already starting to argee with Piccolo, but I let out a shameful snort the second time round watching it...

My sympathies for the kid though. I reckon if the sound effects weren't there I wouldn't have found it quite so amusing. (at first.)

Also, how cool is that actual break-dancing baby? I'm impressed he can hold himself up for even a few seconds at such a young age. Kids don't get strength like that in their arms for another several years, I think.

Haha yeah, I was expecting some baby to come out and do some crazy moves that would put the other guy to shame. My only comment is to all the people saying that the mother/father should have kept better hold of the baby. The father and mother can't be holding the baby all the time and didn't notice till it was too late. Yes, this could have been prevented but it was purely an accident.

Yup, fucking hilarious. If you can't laugh at the consequences of stupid actions, you're totally missing the big picture. The kid is still alive, and he's learned a valuable lesson. If you find this video or people's amusement at it distressing, go smoke a joint and chill out. Life is too short to stress over trivial bullshit that's got nothin' to do with you.
