Battlefield 1942

Since I saw the game today for just 15 Euro, I decided to buy it (Battlefield 1942 + 2 expansions). Obviously the main aspect of the game is the multiplayer part, so I'm wondering if anyone still plays it and/or is willing to give it a shot later with me.

I have it buried in my CD collections. If I remember right, I stopped playing because I was able to play on all high settings, and then one day 1942 mysteriously started chocking and weezing on low settings. I've heard it doesn't have to many players anymore though, so good luck on that.

I just got this game off of my friend. From what I can tell, there's still a few people that play this game. I'm downloading the Desert Combat Mod as I've heard high praises from multiple people I know.

I just bought it the other day, but from what I hear, servers are getting harder to find now that Battlefield 2 has kinda taken the public eye.

I'm always willing to play a game or two, but I've barely ever played it to begin with, so I'll have a steep learning curve ahead of me if BF2 is any indication.
