Yeah sure. We tried before, but it didn't seem to work. If we can get a massive group though, and make sure everyone is on each other's friend list, we should be OK.

It would be nice if Steam would do something with the achievements, like gaining points that can be used to put towards Steam purchases.
You know that'd really be a shame for me, since my stats/achievements are broken, during one of the patches world traveller and head of the class just locked down, it's starting to piss me off by now to be honest, but what can you do.

I'm down for trying that.

What was the stats on that thing, like less than 3% of people have that achievement?

Yeah, only about 2.1% of users have that achievement.

That, and more fun TF2 stats

Wow. Those death maps are great. I love how all the deaths on 2fort are clustered in those sniper areas.

Yeah that's pretty hilarious. I never venture out in that area in 2fort, I'm always going underneath in the water to get to the others' base.

Observations on those statistics: Pubfags People don't give melee weapons enough love. BONESAW IS READYYYYY

I find it a bit weird that there are so many deaths in the first attackers' respawn on Dustbowl, since TF2 lets you change class without suiciding unlike old-school TFC.

Also, if anyone cares, I changed my name to It's Not Lupus. (period included in the name, much to the annoyance of game-monitor.com)

I think you may have to change your class inside the spawn area, otherwise, the character will commit suicide instead.

Thanks to Minoko for such an awesome sig/ava combo!

Eh...you might as well add me to the list. I don't play much though and the only thing I do play is CS:S, but I suck at it.

It's one of those names I just choose randomly for fun only to end up using it 'cause I was too lazy to change it again.

Just got Orange Box for Christmas, so after I build my new computer I'll be ready to play with you guys (as well as finally seeing what's so amazing about Portal).

Portal is overrated, but fun. Don't have too high of standards.

Sorry for the double post, but there's a Steam sale. 10 to 50 percent off!

Portal's amazing because it's different. A good kind of different.

It's not the best thing since sliced bread, but it's definitely good for what it does, a first-person (shooter) puzzle game.

I'm not sure if this is anywhere in the thread, but can anyone tell me who *A-B*WanderingJin is? They added me to their friends list and I accepted, but I can't really recall who that is (though I've seen the name around).

That'd be me. I just kinda started adding everyone from the GFF steam group to my friends list so it would be easier to see if anyone is playing.

Sorry about that!

Ah, no worries. I just didn't recognize you because your steam ID in the topic post is a bit different.

Rockstar apparently made a deal to have a bunch of their games that had PC releases put on Steam.

So if you for some reason haven't played any of the GTAs, Max Paynes or Manhunt, you can redeem yourself now by buying them.

They currently have a bunch of bundles right now:

Max Payne Bundle ($14.95)
Max Payne
Max Payne 2

Grand Theft Auto Collection ($29.95)
Grand Theft Auto
Grand Theft Auto 2
Grand Theft Auto 3
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Rockstar Collection ($59.95 discount price of $53.95 until 01/11)
Grand Theft Auto Collection
Max Payne Collection
Manhunt
Midnight Club 2
Wild Metal

Supposedly there's some region locking right now, so it's possible people outside of the US could be getting less (or nothing at all) currently.

Sounds pretty worth it if you haven't played any of the games and want to on the PC. (It is worth noting that Rockstar offers GTA, GTA 2 and Wild Metal for free themselves if you just want those.)

Can someone please tell me why the logging of your stats in TF2 is destroyed, it's annoying.

I know for a fact that I had, like, at least 20+ kills on a single sentry but it's only showing 8. It doesn't make sense because I even have the achievement.

I'm actually surprised there isn't a TF2 thread. There's one for the 360, but well you know.

That usually happens after steam does an update. A similar problem happened to me when I had the sentry achievement, but the next day or so it was gone, but I still had the sentry kill stats on record. There really isn't a way to get it back except redo it again especially when SPY'S SAPPIN MAH SENTRY all the time.

Meant to post here for ages, especially when I noticed a couple of people on the list played on the vidya servers. I think it was MervBurger and someone else.
