I know that this isn't FREE, but heck it isn't worth paying 9 bucks for an online regiesteration anyway. But the game play is awsome though.

Just download the patcher and client. And install it and play it!

(Too bad you don't to choose name, I think it will be always "Major" and err I think it is impossible to change appearence of your chracter unless you regiester >.> )

Soldat is a very good game. I played it a long time in the past but after a while it got pretty dull. One of the best 2D combat games i've ever played. It feels like Unreal, only 2D

You can chnage your name, just not your profile name. I used to play it about a year or two ago, but it kinda lost its luster for me after a while. The only reason I play it once in a while (and not even online anymore) is to mess with the weapons mod. But spraying LAW missles even gets boring after a while.
