[PC] MapleStory

So I'm recreating the MapleStory thread.
The cash shop has pets, with a meso-magnet and item bag, thoes pets will automatically pick up your monster drops. I have a kitty and I rarely have to press Z, worth the $5 imo.

I'm currently focussed on my Khaini character, Epiphaniness.
I miss Scania, I don't even mind that its so packed with people, its that the server has always "reached capacity."

I started on Broa. I have a level 15 Rogue to be a Bandit named Malagash.

Ludibrium got added, which is cool I suppose.

Why create a thread purely to display apathetic interest? If you're going to discuss, do it right.

More like all wiz KS, I quit after reaching lv 6x spearman, so i might be back on soon or something like that.

I'm kinda playing while I wait for Au rose. lvl 28 Rogue (sin) on Broa.

i just started playing this game and I'm currently on level 6 at that server that starts with the letter K. Looks neat so far.

Gets boring after awhile since no PvP system.

I played this during the time it was beta, but the hackers ruined it all. Not only did they exploit the system for themselves, they also made the monsters fly all around the place making it hard to play.

Did they get rid of them yet? Also, is that other world open yet?

There are 5 worlds now:

Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, and Khaini.

There's also GameGuard, and while there are still hackers, they're generally far and few.

Vac and fly hackers are still around, though they are much more lowkey now than they were in Beta.

EDIT: would anyone happen to know how to play this game windowed? fullscreen is pretty annoying. i tried 3Danalyze but it seems to be recognised as a hack :|

Yes and yes? MaSt now uses "GameGuard" to protect itself against hacking (there are ways around this of course), so its pretty clean now. Also implemented is an on screen number keypad for entering a four digit pin, to prevent keyloggers. The other world I assume you're referring to, Ludibrium, is now open, and is fun because it includes a new Party Quest, lvl35-51.

After sticking with this game for so long I've pretty much quit =\

Iron Boar, Mix Gollum, Zombie Mushmom comming soon. Also, Aqua Road is supposedly comming soon as well. I don't understand why it takes months for a town to show up in global servers, when it shows up in asian servers first (translation time?). And monsters taking months to show up in global servers as well (what's to translate?!)?

I'm on Windia. I play kind of off-and-on, but I still play. Windia is a lot more peaceful than the Beta of old.
