[DS] The Quintessential Nintendo DS WiFi Thread

Instead of keeping track of friend codes in various threads for every WiFi compatable game released or things of that nature, I thinks it would be a lot easier to just have one thread where we can store all that good stuff and discuss WiFi in general or set up matches or WHATEVER.

So list your friend codes and all that good stuff here and i'll try to keep this main post updated as much as possible.

Don't forget, if you're looking to get some GFF WiFi games together, you can always join #nwifi on irc.xelium.net which is where a lot of us hang out.

HOW CAN I HELP RONZ MAKE THIS THREAD NOT A PAIN TO UPDATE?
Good question. What would help the most is to simply list your friend codes in the same format that I have them listed in my post here.

Example: "Mario Kart DS: 123456-789012"

I format the entries here just like this according to how the game creates the friend code, which means i'll do the 4x3 method(ala Metroid Prime) for those games, and the 6x2(ala Mario Kart) method for those games. If you post your friend code otherwise, that just means i'm gonna change it myself. So your help in that regard would be much appreciated.

Update: I do my best to check over posts and see if they have been updated with any new codes, but if I miss one that you've added or I typed your code wrong in this post or whatever, just PM me and i'll get it changed ASAP.

New Update: PMing me asking me to update the thread is fine, assuming you don't go overboard. Trust me, I see your PMs. You don't need to PM me more than once. If I haven't updated the thread after seeing your PM, there's probably a good reason why.

ANOTHER UPDATE GOOD LAWD: Folks i'm never probably gonna update this first post anymore because honestly, I can't get on WiFi currently so I just don't care too much. My suggestion to you all would be to head over to the GFF Wiki Friend Codes page at http://gfw.condign.org/wiki/Friend_codes and post your codes there. Anyone can update the wiki, so it makes it much easier on me and everyone else. That is all.

I support this idea! Now should we have everyone's information in the first post or just have one post per person and have them update it whenever they get a new Friend code?

Note: I'll update this post with my friend code information in the future.

Actually, to reduce the clutter it would be ideal to just have everyone update their only post in the thread...

One drawback... If we updated our posts, how would the threadmaker, in this case Ronz, know that we did unless we personally told him or he went through the whole thread. Since the threads are bumped when they're posted in, this seems to be the logical choice of format, no?

Metroid Prime Hunters: 4166-7937-2335
Tetris DS: 230001 - 433554

I also have Animal Crossing: WW, but I don't play it anymore so posting my code at the moment would be useless.

It would also probably be a good idea to add a page for this on the wiki, though I'm not sure what the article title would be. Perhaps "[Game Title] Friend Codes" or something. I'll put my number in this post when I get back to my apartment sometime next week.

Well if we do the one post format and just have each person update it as they get new games or whatever, we wouldn't be able to have any discussion in this thread or it would just screw the whole thing up.

I'm fine with either way really. I just think having one thread for friend codes will be easier then having to dig through a bunch of them to get all the ones you are looking for.

Acer should also sticky this thread because he's awesome like this cow

Hmmm...we should also have a way of letting each other know who's on our friend list. I could go through this entire thread and add everyone but it doesn't do much good unless they add me too. If we go with the post format we could also list the GFFers we have on our list...

I'll update this post in the future to put up my friend codes, probably in a few weeks when Tetris DS and Metroid Hunters comes out (ON THE SAME DAY OH GAWD)

I honestly don't touch my DS anymore, but I could always dig it up for a match or two.

Well, I have Animal Crossing, but I don't remember what my FC is right now. I do have my Bleach FC, if anyone wants to know. I rarely play though, and I usually only play on the weekends, because I don't have am easily accessible broadband connection. =/

Bleach DS:
Main Character: Rukia
Cards/Reifu:No/None
Rank:940...which is crap.
Friend Code: 493-987-734-008
