journal system for php?
I have a forum and im looking for something kinda myspace like. i want each member to be able to have a journal/blog, but i dont want my server to have to handle a bunch of WordPress (or whatever) installs. I am useing SMF 1.1 RC2

I just bumped that thread because I'm also running SMF 1.1 RC2 (such a fine piece of software, btw). The only link it gives is a mod that requires a portal of some kind, though. I hope someone is still working on a journal mod for SMF.

If you read the thread Roph linked to, you'd notice that someone is already working on this journal feature. He also provided a link to his own forum with the mod installed and it truely looks amazing:
