Loading .sub files?

I downloaded a movie that is in korean and it has an english .sub file with it. I tried to load it with Media Player Classic and got an error. How do I load these exactly? I have Zoom Player, VLC Player too.

I need to get them to load with the movie file though, so I can watch it with subtitles. But thanks for the help.

The subs aren't loaded automaticly when you run the video file (this requires that they have the same filename)? Some .sub files do require an .idx to run properly, though this should have been included if that was the case.

If it just won't work, check this site and see if they don't have a sub file that's in synch with your video file.

Download BS Player and it will load the subtitles. make sure you put the subtitles in the same folder as the video.

http://www.bsplayer.com

I use it for my Korean movies such as Welcome to Dongmakgol.

No, no, no, no, no, no.

Do not under any circumstance, use BSPlayer. It's free version is bundled with Adware.

Hmmm... my version never had that problem. Must be the newer versions that have the problem.

Sorry...

I have the answer! Question #1: Is your .sub file named like the video file (i.e. 'Video.avi and Video.sub?" if no then that's your problem, if that's not the case then just use this http://www.cccp-project.net/ just download any link that fits your OS. Other than that you shouldn't have problems, if you do have problems just PM me! =D

VLC can load external subtitles. You just have to specifiy them when opening a movie file.
