OS X Image editor?

Does anyone know a good, basic OS X image editor?
I'm thinking like a cross between IrfanView (Windows only) and MS Paint.

I can't seem to find anything. ;_;

Try Seashore.

I'm not familiar with IrfanView, but this app has served my needs pretty well as a MSPaint replacement.

Seashore is great, it has some pretty amazing features for being a freeware program.

It supports layers, brush strokes, and antialiasing. It's much better than MSPaint. It doesn't support as many filetypes as IrfanView, but who really needs anything other than .jpg, .gif or .png?

If you need a more powerful image software, Gimpshop is a good choice.
