Screen Savers (hi-res / graphically impressive)

I'm tired of seeing the roaming Windows XP logo... and now that I finally have a decent graphics card, it's time to have my computer doing something with that potential, even when it's not actually doing anything.

So... what screen-savers does the GFF community use? Anything recommended that look particularly snazzy? Fractals and wavy textures and stuff like that?

Also, is anyone else still using their default screensaver? Or the ever classic 'Matrix Code'?

Euphoria is a classic, free and highly configurable to many trippy effects.

On my Mac, I use PlasmaTunnel (looks a bit dated now, but still cool), AbstractMotion (perhaps my favorite, very subtle and minimalistic-nice), and TriVectus Gravity, which is way too much fun to watch.

On Windows, Rebirth is cool. It's a supernova-looking particle effect demo that's, well...impressive. Also, I found one (buggered if I remember where) called KewlClock that displays the date and time in an artistic sort of manner.

Oh, and for more cross-platform goodness, SolarWinds is always a goodie.

Now tell me all about your pain, down to the details.

I FINALLY found a Windows port of xscreensaver's 'GLMatrix', and damn am I happy with it.

I mean, sure, it's The Matrix, but it's still pretty cool. Falling code and all, but the camera pans around a little too. I like it. As for others, Google 'Really Slick Screensavers' for some ports of the higher-end xscreensavers, they're pretty nice too.

You could try ElectricSheep at electricsheep.org. It's a really cool concept, but you need to be connected all the time to the net though.

It's been a long time since I've gotten at all excited about screensavers, but the new one coming with Leopard called Arabesque is really quite nice.
