Add silence to MP3s without reencoding

I'm looking for a batch-tool to add 0.1 silence at the beginning and 1 second silence at the end of my VBR MP3s, without reencoding, of course.

I tried MPtrim but that magically fucks up the seek mechanism of my VBR MP3s.

What about letting MPtrim do the job and later fix the VBR header with something like fb2k?

If there's silence elsewhere in the mp3, you could try using Mp3DirectCut.

LiquidAcid's method worked. However, I noticed I really fucked up the fade-out on my older rips. Either way, I will have to rerip them.
