So I am pretty much a Google Earth fanatic. I am constantly looking for cool places and just yesterday, I discovered that there's heavy traffic in Pyoengyang, for instance. But today, I read that there's another cool tool called "Nasa World Wind", which is supposed to kick Google Earth's ass. I am not too sure about that, and since the download is almost 200 MB, I was wondering if anyone could share his or her experiences. Is NWW really better than Google Earth?

It's actually only 60 MB, so I will download it and see if it's cool. Though I'm a big fan of Google; I don't know if the lameos from NASA could have made something better than Google Earth.

I don't think it's better, havent tried the program since 2 or 3 years though... it's older than Google Earth and there aren't all the fancy stuff in Google Earth too i guess (restaurants, etc...)

After using it for a few minutes, I have to say that World Wind is definitely prettier, however it is also much more taxing on system resources and bandwidth. Also, by default, it wanted the size of the cache folder to be 10 GB. ::fuck off:: And the map of Liepaja is lacking, to say the least.
Google Earth is definitely a lot more usable, for my needs. Its interface is also a lot more intuitive, which is not surprising, of course. I will uninstall this NASA shit.
