FINALLY! Gonzales to RESIGN today.

Gonzales departure won't end probes - Yahoo! News

Quote:
BREAKING NEWS

WASHINGTON - Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' resignation Monday after months of draining controversy drew expressions of relief from Republicans and a vow from Democrats to pursue their investigation into fired federal prosecutors.

President Bush, Gonzales' most dogged defender, told reporters he had accepted the resignation reluctantly. "His good name was dragged through the mud for political reasons," Bush said.

The president named Paul Clement, the solicitor general, as a temporary replacement. With less than 18 months remaining in office, there was no indication when Bush would name a successor — or how quickly or easily the Senate might confirm one.

"Better late than never," said Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, summing up the response of many in Washington.
Damm, its about time!

Aren't you going to feel silly when the guy replacing Gonzales turns out to be Michael Chertoff.

I'm surprised he didn't resign already, since he was such a favorite ragdoll for the dems.

I would be interested in knowing what kind of blow back this might cause the Democrats who have hounded him, specifically in the Hispanic community at large. The Dems approval rating is already low, wonder if the Hispanic community will feel betrayed enough to pay them back. Gonzales was the nation's first Hispanic Attorney General.

You'd be surprised how many hispanics don't really give a shit about Gonzales. Quite like how a lot of black people don't give a crap about Condi.

I really doubt it, since if there would be any hispanic blowback based on race alone, it would've happened when he first started getting negative attention.

Spics and beaners are smart enough to know that, even though the man was one of them, that he did some things that he deserved the bad credit for.

quite frankly I find your post offensive.

Still doesn't explain why you think a large group of hispanics/latinos would be upset at a guy getting fired/or resigning under pressure for being incompetent/corrupt/a liar. Oh but he's of their race, try again.

Yeah, a goddamn racist redneck fuck finds the very idea that dirty illegals will have a strong negative opinion on Gonzales resigning while not having a strong negative opinion on the things that he has said and done is irresponsible and highly offensive.

You should meditate on this, porch monkey.

I never said they would, I merely wondered if they would, a sort of hypothetical question that wasn't meant to actually have a answer. Completely different. I even have the word "wonder" in my original post, and captured twice in a quote.

I wasn't aware that all non-white's were illegal aliens. I'm terribly sorry for my misconception. Being called a porch monkey is highly amusing for many reasons, all of which you obviously don't have the necessary skills to understand, as it would seem. And furthermore, I will do no meditation because none in needed, but feel free to meditate all you want, it looks like you have some pent up anger that needs to be resolved.

Why would you even wonder such a thing? The thought still crossed your mind. Any amount of "it's just a hypothetical" from your end is a stupid excuse.

I think it's really cute that you're affecting an intellectual and nuanced language while telling me that I am behaving in an over-the-top manner.

I'll try again.

None, or very few, hispanics are going to be offended that a man of his own free will has retired his post, when that man has been embroiled in controversy of his own doing. Merely suggesting that hispanics (and not other groups of people, such as short men or first-lawyers-in-their-families or loyal Bushies) would give Democrats (who had nothing to do with his resignation outside of giving him and many of his coworkers royal hell for said shady business) blowback for this is incredibly racist.

In short fuck you house nigger.

For the record, I checked his age before posting this. 1978, he's almost 30. thirty and he's posting shit like this.

Wrong again, no matter how hard you try, you just won't make me give a fuck what you think of me, my opinions, or what I may wonder. Try again if you like, just don't expect satisfaction.

Shit son, from racism born of naïveté to "you don't know me" in the span of an hour and a half. That's a new record!

It's still true though. Even though he is the color of hispanics, you'll probably be hard pressed to find one who gives a shit who hadn't already given a shit. Will you be offended by my use of swear words again?

As a white man, I'm highly offended that you've been driven into this corner by a lurker. I'll make sure not to back her in the future on account of this transgression to one of my white brothers.

White Power kid, know what I mean?

I found the Renn Fair a great place to spread the gospel of White Nationalism. Most of the people were there to experience European culture, how ever incomplete or commercialized. I dress up as a knight. The way people relate changes, I can approach almost any one and strike up a conversation the way I would never dare to dressed regularly. And I always steer the talk toward race awareness/WN subjects. Renn Fairs are fertile grounds for propagandizing and recruitment.
