these were all pretty bad, but Kingdom of Ixa'taka at least didn't make me cry (as much).

Final Battle sounds like a Final Battle theme, thank god. It does not excuse the fact that it's trite and uninteresting the whole way through.

Visionnerz is a classic.

Seeing Again's piano part is actually tons better than the other 2 piano tunes that have shown up so far.

Kingdom of Ixa'taka has lots of drums and people celebrating in the background, it feels as though I'm actually there! (in before THAT'S THE POINT)

In summation: You're all wrong.

Additional Spam:
I just think that everyone should take it easy. It's fine if Kolba thinks the track is banal and wants to simply say so, but I don't think a person's dislike that they choose to vocalize should be taken that far.
This is true, but I'm not seeing anything of this nature from any party in this thread. It's amazing what constitutes taking VGM so seriously now.

I'd say Kolba's post constitutes as nagging with a little bit of antagonizing, and I dislike nagging. I think little quips like douchebag litmus tests are amusing and just a part of the melting pot of VGM tastes we have here, but I don't like the stuff that goes on and on about how "this is shit and is boring and you faggots are ruining the contest with stuff like this."

Please notice how much more effort he put into the Ixa'Taka description than the Visionnerz description. I do truely love the part about "OMFG, if this were in SAUS, people would bitch about it and laugh at it because they're SUPERIAR when it comes to listening to music"...Pseudo-elitism done in a way that just can't be taken seriously is always welcome.

(sad thing is, I'm almost inclined to agree on a lot of RPG music...just not Ixa'Taka)
I'm taking over this town...
I'm screaming for vengenace...
I'm shouting at the devil...
I'm not dead and I'm not for sale...
Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time...
