This is the first time I've heard the original sound version of Let's Go Away; I'm familiar with the arrangement featured in the From Loud 2 Low album (which might just be the same arrangement in the original sound track, can anyone confirm). Because that version features actual lyrics, I was led to believe the original did, and it's only now in this lyricless original that I fully understand it's cult status. No attempt at humor from me, I'm voting for Let's Go Away not because of DAYYYTOOONNAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, but because it's a bitchin' awesome tune.

Though massive props to the nominator of that Alpine Racer track. In most other pairings, that would've easily gotten the vote.
Say! Do you want to go see a movie?

Yeah, that's the same arrangement on both those albums.

This is probably the best preliminary match in this year's contest (no sarcasm).

I normally dislike trance but Stream of Tears is very enjoyable. Not really liking Crystal Reef nor mediocrity. Give it Together is decent enough and has a steady rhythm. And then I listened to Daytona.

Joke nomination or not, I find Let's Go Away to be a strong contender and far more original than the majority of what I've heard in the Prelims up to this point. My original vote for Stream of Tears is Going Away.

One of the stronger match-ups in the prelims. I really liked the catchy/upbeat racing tracks and the lush orchestral pieces. But in the end, "Crystal Reef" caught my fancy the most. Very beautiful piece.
I think therefore I am... I think.
