Ok this article is just stating a whole bunch of things which should be common knowledge for anyone who has ever been in a relationship and then suggests that nerds do these things naturally {implying that people who aren't nerds do not}. Ok.
Yeah, hey, listening to my partner never occured to me! Going to places where I can participate in things which I interest me and that I enjoy never occured to me! What, I should seek a partner with whom I can converse about any random topic which may come up in day to day life? Absurd! But I guess if I look at the article from a different angle, I can see that it makes a lot of good points towards achieving a possible goal. That goal, of course, being a means of boosting the self esteem and confidence level of some people who perceive themselves as nerds. |
Or, alternatively, reducing some of the negative stigma associated with nerds.
