Man forced to "marry" goat...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/4748292.stm

... I hate the world. -_-

Son of Wiseness Mar 4, 2006 09:33 AM

That's plain nasty.

Eleo Mar 4, 2006 09:37 AM

Moral of the story is:

Stick to fapping.

Chao_Zero Mar 4, 2006 09:41 AM

Well, SOMEONE was desperate, now weren't they?

Acro-nym Mar 4, 2006 09:44 AM

Is it okay to laugh at this? I mean, neither party really wins in this situation, so it seems somewhat in poor taste to laugh at them. However, they don't know who I am, where I live, or what I look like. So laugh I will.

Amen?

At the very least, he wouldn't have been forced to marry a goat. Either way, sexual repression or not, any country that would make someone marry the animal that they have sex with is a tad bit crazy. (Just a tad.) Why not castrate the poor guy? =o

It almost seems more human than being forced to marry a goat. But in all honesty it's a little disturbing that someone felt the need to do that when they could have just used a hand. Or..any other method, really.

Gechmir Mar 4, 2006 10:24 AM

A line from Club Dread comes to mind ;D

Bigblah Mar 4, 2006 10:25 AM

All he did was pay a dowry. It's not like they held a wedding or something.

Gechmir Mar 4, 2006 10:27 AM

I bet this'll be hard to explain to any future girlfriend, though ;D

You mean the future goat?
Sorry..

halfbloodprince Mar 4, 2006 10:40 AM

"We have given him the goat, and as far as we know they are still together," Mr Alifi said. [Taken from the bbc news web page]

At least its seems that he did like it... [I mean the goat]

Jiraiya Mar 4, 2006 10:46 AM

I find that quite amusing. Thats what you get for beastiality.

Scumbag Harry Mar 4, 2006 11:33 AM

That must have been a very strange night for both parties.

Magi Mar 4, 2006 11:48 AM

Well, this is a goat we are talking about, not human, so in essence this is more like he is buying the goat from the owner. >.>

Atomic Duck Mar 4, 2006 01:04 PM

lmao... I'd make him marry the goat too XD We was asking for it, so I see nothing wrong with laughing =P

TRZD Mar 4, 2006 01:39 PM

I think it's quite fitting to be honest; it's either what he wanted or the ultimate shame for him, but it's nothing less than his own fault. :p

Do you hate the fact that the man was having sex with a goat or the fact that the elders made him marry it?

munchkin13 Mar 4, 2006 02:05 PM

that bloke must be tapped in the head.

Von Mar 4, 2006 02:47 PM

We're talking about a place that still has elders for chrissake.

Megalith Mar 4, 2006 02:52 PM

The goat must have been an animorph, ok.

Fjordor Mar 4, 2006 03:05 PM

That's hilarious. I cannot help but laugh. I think they were pretty much doing it to punish the guy, and he was humiliated beyond all measure. He more than likely has learned his lesson.

Also, what the hell is wrong with having ELDERS?!?!?!

nazpyro Mar 4, 2006 03:10 PM

"'...so I captured and tied him up'." That's funny. Sudan's awesome.

Von Mar 4, 2006 03:11 PM

Do your elders force you to marry someone outside of your tribe?

I don't have tribes. Nor do I have elders.
In small scale societies such as those, however, elders are a good thing to have. Wise leadership is necessary for the survival of those societies.
