I think it does raise a poignant question that I'm sure many of us have silently asked ourselves in recent days:

"What kind of name is "Bristol", anyway?
You call this a zombie apocalypse?

That's really what you're concerned with Crash? Because her sons' names are Track and Trig.

I was mostly joking, Dope. Tell me you got that. Please tell me.

But yeah, the names of her five kids, Bristol, Track, Trig, Willow and Piper, are rather pretentious. At least I think so. I'm not saying that it makes her less capable of serving as VP but it does tell me a bit about Sarah Palin as a person.

So you want us to bring up other factors in the debate? Why don't you take a dose of your own fucking medicine instead of mucking up threads you don't really belong in.

Go post in Canadian elections thread, fucker.
Yes because someone can't have an informed opinion about politics unless they're from the country in question (protip, slick: I vote.) Also, I already did post in that thread, but I can understand why you wouldn't know that. I mean, it certainly is hard to keep up with the demands of vastly missing the point in multiple threads at the same time, I'm sure.

Look, Junior, you're right. You're welcome to your own standards. But let me say it again: Your standards are asinine.

You can approach the elections by voting on who has the best shoes, if you wanted. Those can be your standards. But you'd still have the standards of an idiot.

You see how you and I are discussion two completely different things because you can't grasp a simple concept?

That's like the sixth time. Write it the fuck down or something this time around. Seriously, it's starting to feel like punching a retarded kid who doesn't understand why he's being taught a lesson.

DENI WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT POLITICS. GO BACK TO YOUR ICE AND HOCKEY PUCKS AND LAME BEER >=0

If happen to "GO BACK TO" Shadowrun, though, lemme know =[

I find it quite odd to attack naming of children, short of them being named "Sephiroth" and "Google". If you find yourself scratching your head over names like "Bristol", I suggest you watch basketball or football and listen to a few of the monikers people call themselves these days D:

Gech, I specifically said that the name choices don't make her less capable. I framed the entire comment within the context of my own limited thought process. Her childrens' names tell me a little bit about Sarah Palin's character. It's not a partisan dissection or anything. I just look at them and see a woman for whom outward appearances matter very much. She is a politician and also a former beauty queen. I'm not surprised by a bit of ostentatiousness at all.

What it does do is make me think. When you're in politics, many things are done with the public eye in mind. Where does calculated image construction stop and true character begin? I sincerely doubt naming her kids like that was a political gambit, so what remains is a woman who strives to be stylishly unique. That's not something I can fairly criticize in political terms. It's just an unusual trait in a Vice Presidential candidate. We're used to subdued gentlemen, folks who remain quiet and supportive, acting as mastheads.

It's a different sort of pill to swallow. Certainly not impossible. Just different.
I'll just stay behind you, okay?

Jesus Christ, you're right. We're a scant generation or two out from venerated, reasoned politicians having close relations named after the vidya.

Uh oh he busted out the caps. I'm done for.

So basically we've determined in about six pages that people are stupid. Welcome to America, where people vote for candidates for much, much, much stupider reasons than the one we've been discussing.

After all, nobody pays attention in civics and government class. They haven't for about 25 years.

How do you quote the important bit and then completely ignore it and continue to argue against something no one is counter to you on? Have you ever read Don Quixote? I'm just curious, because you have some remarkable things in common with the title character.

I'm wondering if we will always have this type religious zealotry in Washington for decades to come. I sure hope not, because it's getting real fucking old. The Bible isn't the constitution. This isn't a makeshift theocracy, people.

It just saddens me that many shortsighted dimwits will be voting for this in the fall.

I hate sarah palin
she thinks that being a mother and a business owner alone gives her enough to be VP?
wtf??
i can see where being mayor of a town of around 7,000 and governor of a shitty state MIGHT (emphasis on the might.......and by that i mean not really at all but there is a slim chance) give her the experience she needs
but all in all she's dumb
"joe six packs and hockey moms"
newsflash: maybe 5% of hockey moms are in the lower 49
and not every guy is a so called "joe six pack"
gah
pisses me off
