External HDD advice - sale, need help quick!
I'm planning on buying an external HDD this summer and just found this ridiculous deal at Future Shop.
500 GB external Western Digital HDD for $230 CDN. What do you think? Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

It's a pretty good deal, if you ask me. You couldn't do it cheap if you purchased an external enclosure and drive separately, so go for it. Just to note... the drive has a 1 year warranty which is a little meh.
There's nowhere I can't reach.

Bad deal. 500's retail for less than $150 (5 year warranty)... you can get an external case for like $15. In fact, this is exactly what i did 2 months ago.
