I wouldn't consider myself very good at games today, but I used to be the shit at Quake 3 Arena when it was fresh. During that time, I was young, I had summer vacation and nothing to do. Guess what, I played Quake 3 every damn day a whole summer. I became really good at it really, although I never tried any tournaments.
