Of course I would. It doesn't matter how close of a friend they are. That's ridiculous.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
It depends a lot on the who and why of the murder and how close of a friend it is. Generaly speaking the tears of some randome jackasses who's kid/husband/father gets killed randomly really doesn't matter to me so guilt wouldn't really be an issue. Also if it was the sort of thing that wasn't likely to happen again I'd be more likely to let it lie. Friendship should always come before legality and there's plenty of people in the world who really don't need to be alive.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
Lady, I was gonna cut you some slack, cause you're a major mythological figure but now you've just gone nuts!

I wouldn't rat on my friend, or at least actively seek out authorities to report my friend. However if the cops ever actually tracked down his friends and me and questioned me about it then I would certainly say something. I sure as hell ain't going to jail to cover up his fuck up.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I bet if one of your friends raped a 6 year old, you'd turn a blind eye to that too. If you wouldn't report a murder, you certainly wouldn't care about that. You're pathetic. I was speaking idiomatically. |
I'd rat my friends or family out in a heartbeat if I knew they had murdered someone.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I'd pick up the phone and rat him out immediately. Friendship doesn't even come into play when someone else's life has been taken.

I won't rat him unless he's threating to kill me. But I will breakup my relationship with her/him
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

If my friend meant to kill the person, I would be a bit paranoid, and would turn him to the cops immediately...
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
If it was a murder committed in cold blood, then I would speak up as soon as possible. I refuse to associate with people who kill others maliciously.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Firstly I would listen to his/her reasons for doing that. If it was an accident I wouldn't rat my friend out, but I would try and convince him/her to confess the crime to the Justice. But that wouldn't affect my friendship with this person...
Think this way: if my friend will tell me such a thing, that means she/he has complete trust in me. So, it wouldn't be difficult to talk him/her into confessing the crime. In fact, that would mean that I respect him/her so much that I don't wanna see him/her in a bad situation before the society. Now, if he/she cold-blooded killed someone for selfish and stupid reasons... I'd call 911 for sure. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Actually rape or some form of random beating I would report it. Not sure how I work that out moraly it just seems more cruel and less necesary somehow. At the moment I'm admittedly not adding much to the world and I do eat a lot so maybe it would be for the best that someonee take me out but such things are rarely handed out fairly. We'll just have to take the population reductions were we can get them. How ya doing, buddy?

There's always a story behind it. If my friend killed her abusive husband, then there's a difference if she just killed a random guy on the street for his wallet.
Like always, it depends on the situation and what would allow me to go to sleep at night. I'd like to believe I have a decent concience so I'll just let it decide. I was speaking idiomatically. |

For me i guess it depends on why they did it in the first place... but i'd tell them to turn themselves in and i'd prob go with them to provide support if they need it...but, i mean, if it was an accident in the first place then they sudn't have to worry? but if they did kill someone out of spite or because they WANTED TO, i'm calling the cops cos I'd be helping them in their deed if I didn't
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
It really depends on the situation. If my best friend went out to the park and shanked some old woman walking her dog for no reason, I'd probably have to turn him in.
If however, he killed someone on accident, I wouldn't bother. The guilt would get him eventually. If it was a crime of passion on someone who was say, fucking with him, or something like that, I'd be hard-pressed to say what I'd do. If it was some sort of revenge killing for someone who did some grievous wrong to him though, I'd probably never say a word. Also maybe if it was someone I didn't like very much. So yeah, maybe that makes me a wretched cunt, but to be honest I couldn't give a flying fuck. FELIPE NO |
Depends on the friend and why they killed whoever. If they killed someone for the hell of it, i'd turn them in. If they killed someone who had done something horrible to them and it was a rage thing then I probably would keep quiet.
Basically I agree with Jessykins on this one. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I definitely would rat them out if they murdered someone. The value of a life is greater than that of a friendship. It's not up to me to look at the circumstances and then decide whether or not it was justified, that's what a jury is for.
