Oh, I thought the being awesome as hell one went without saying, so I didn't bother to include it. I guess I should have, even though everyone would've already known.

I guess I'm a typical metalhead. I wear primarily black band shirts, often of bands few have heard outside of other metalheads, and blue jeans. I hate faded jeans, but I unfortunately own a couple. Didn't buy them myself, my girlfriend got them for me, however I will get rid of them and buy some dark pure blue jeans when I get some money. I despise most mainstream music, but I don't have too many metal head friends.

Let's see, what else about me...I'm white who lives in a predominately Mexican area and I'm perfectly comfortable with that. In fact, I generally prefer the company of Mexicans to white people, however the majority of my current friends are white. I also love Mexican food, none of that southwestern bullshit. I mean the real deal that's completely greasy, hot and just damn tasty.

I am pretty nerdy, but I don't typically follow a stereotype I suppose.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I'm English but think of myself as a Kiwi, been here 18 years which is long enough to qualify I think!
I have 3 kids but don't think of myself as a mum, more a taxi driver.
I hate any kind of housework or cooking and will leave such jobs as long as I possibly can. I only iron when there's nothing left in anybodys wardrobe.
I'm not into fashion at all, jeans tshirts and jandals will do just fine. I hate spending money on clothes for anyone but if the kids mention a new game they want I'm at the shop before they've finished speaking.
Their mates all think I'm supercool as we have nearly every console (missing the xbox 360 and the Dreamcast but give me time!) and a whole bookcase full of games, and I know how to burn games and dvd's - although of course I don't actually do that!
I don't work and spend most days playing a game, surfing the net or spending my husband's wages online or at the gameshops. I'm also addicted to caffeine and nicoteine.
Pretty boring, really

I'm British;

- I'm highly cynical
- I'm quite stoic too, the classic British stiff upper-lip
- I'm well-mannered, well, fairly polite anyway
- I'm far more reserved than extroverted
- I guess I have a posh accent (in fact people who live in the same town as me have noticed it)

One thing I'm not in the slightest however is patriotic. I also don't drink warm beer >.<

I probably fit into some people's stereotypes about "weird/goth" teenagers in California.

-I have piercings.
-I wear a lot of black shirts (though I don't own any black pants)
-I had purple hair for a little bit.
-I used to wear a black leather collar every day.
-I read about serial killers and haunted places.
-I used to love corsets and still wish I owned one.

Not so typical for a "goth" girl.
-My hair is naturally blonde and, though I did dye it bright colors a few times, I leave it blonde. I've never tried to dye it black.
-I don't hate my life and I don't want to die.
-I don't write poetry. In fact, I hate English. I'm a Math and Science kind of girl.

I don't know. People often say I'm weird... but in a good sense! I have always been different from most, so I really don't think I can be classified as "stereotypical". But then again, thinking that you're not a stereotype is quite stereotypical in itself.

Quick facts:

24 year old white male
Pretty attractive for being a video game geek
Speaks Swedish, English and Japanese fluently
Majoring in business
Currently single, but working on it
Knows how to cook (and I mean more than just spaghetti!)
A sucker for chocolate

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Stereotypes are so numerous now a days, that if one doesn't fit into one, they can just pick a stereotype and change themselves to match it. At least, that's what we tell ourselves.

I guess I'm just a 'nerd', though my fascination with video games has waned a lot lately - and I suppose anyone on a board called 'Gamingforce' could be called that, so nevermind, I guess.

I'm a hypocrite. Is that a stereotype?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Considering that many people are hypocrites it could, in a sense, be defined as a stereotype. However, I would personally put it in another category based on "norm", saying that it is normal to be a hypocrite nowadays. Then again, what is normal?

I'm a stereotypical American born Asian male.

Things which go along with my stereotype:
I only dated white girls in Highschool.
I friends are majority white or another ethnicity other than Asian.
I follow Asian traditional holidays, but have no idea what they mean.
I speak English to my parents when they speak Chinese to me.
I eat rice with chopsticks.
I am good with math and science.
I play the piano.
I play videogames. CSS should do it.
I am trying to get into med school after I graduate.
I am heavily integrated into online society.
I drive a Honda.

(Hydelloon, we're like twins)

Things which go against my stereotype:
I loath math, science, accounting, finance, economics, etc.
I love politics, art, history and foreign languages.
I am 6"0.
I can speak my language.
I actually want to go back to Asia.
I hate anime.

Agreed! I love Boards of Canada!

I'm just a nerd.

- I rarely hang out.
- I'm shy as hell.
- I mainly just play video games and go on the internets.
- I wear glasses and had braces at one point.
- I like to read.
- I watch anime.
- I have no fashion sense.

TEXAN/SOUTHERNER =O
  • I love guns
  • I love shooting guns
  • I have a confederate flag in my bedroom
  • I'm very uneasy around blacks. But the ones I've met around here have been the scum of humanity. So my unease is justified =p
  • I own a truck with four-wheel drive
  • I'm going to work in the petroleum industry
  • I voted for Bush (better choice than Kerry I figured. And no, I'm not a bible thumper or Republican)
  • I have a mild drawl/Texan accent
  • I listen to (and love) country music. Particularly George Strait, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, etc.
  • I have spent a hefty amount of time working on a farm
