I love me some Super Robot Taisen. I was thrilled when this news dropped.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD.

Huh. This looks more like a traditional JRPG with the Super Robot Taisen trappings attached. I wonder how that will work out?

Looks like it's going to be even more jigglicious than SRW J.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

That's what has me worried. The original gameplay wasn't the most amazing thing ever, but I always felt that they could've worked on a few things to turn it into something truly amazing. That (along with the several mainstream mecha anime characters in the non OG games) was what really got me into the SRW series. Hope this still turns out good...

The last three shots are some of the worst magazine scan-photos I've ever seen. Why would they even bother uploading something as unclear as that?

This looks intriguing. I'm not a rabid fan, so I have no issues if it's not an SRPG like usual. I just wonder what are the chances of a faithful translation (and no dubbing)

Probably pretty low. Atlus seems to have opted not to port Original Generations on the PS2. Loyal fanbase or not, the series is a bit too niche to really be worth the cost of localization, it seems.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I'm hoping that there will be some SRX or at least R-1 styled mechs/people. I've only played the OG games but this looks interesting. Since Monolith is owned by Nintendo, there is that small glimmer of hope that it could come stateside. If not, at least the DS is easy to import for and Hope there'll be some translation FAQs.
