VGA boxes

I just got a Dreamcast and was wanting to use my PC monitor for it instead of my TV. Do you have any recommendations on a VGA box? So far I have heard of Hais but don't know where to buy it.

If possible, one that would work with a PS2 would be excellent as well. Thanks!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Don't you need a capture-card to get this working?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

No.

Dreamcast's quality is automatically upscaled. PS2 and xbox don't have this, so getting yourself a multi-purpose adapter is pointless. If you're going to play PS2 games through a monitor, you'll need an upscan converter. Since Dreamcast is already all set, the only issue is getting a decent VGA adapter.

This is what I have, and it works like a charm. It even supports PC speakers. The problem is it doesn't have a name, and I don't know anyone who sells them anymore.

I might as well add that there's a small portion of Dreamcast games which don't support VGA, so it's best to google around and see if the games you're going to be playing are VGA compatible or not.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Thanks for your help. Most of the DC games I play have VGA support according to a list I found so I should be safe. Sucks about the PS2 though.

How ya doing, buddy?
