There is indeed a Symphonic Suite for Dragon Quest VIII:
http://www.gamemusic.com/cgi-bin/Web...d=1005&did=101 A little back-story...this album was recorded before the localization process, per Koichi Sugiyama's normal habit. When the English version was considered, someone had the idea to use the Orchestral music in-game, much as what happened with the DQV remake. Of course, since it was all medleys and arrangements, I bet the process of breaking up these pieces and trying to loop them wasn't easy. (I've tried this for my own benefit.) But they did a great job. Most amazing jew boots
