Why is it there? Because I put it there. Also, I don't like wireless anything. I actually went to the trouble to run an ethernet cable down my wall to hook up to my laptop, rather than just use a wireless card. (Actually, I had one, but stopped using it because my headphone amplifier kept picking up interference from it.)

Ciao.

Ill post a picture of my setup when I get home. I only have 1 game though (Dead or Alive 4, and I suck at it), unlike the nerd elite in this thread.

Didn't think of the desktop as a gaming station, but ofcause it is - I use most of my gaming time here.

You can even see four of the five PC games I have
The fifth being F.E.A.R. till I'm done with it.

If it can make you feel any better, I've just played GameCube, so it's a bit of a mess right now. ='D
I'm not the only one who likes it nice and simple though. A dude on some forum, Spanca, posted a pretty nice setup I'm quite jealous of. Sweet.

Hey Kilroy, what's up. I know you've got a pikachu-n64. Can't hide it forever you know!

here is where I play console:

projected screen, the screen is a bit blurry, couldnt hold the camera still

the sofa where we mostly chill on to play videogames

same sofa, just without camera light, I like the indirect downlight, so the light doesnt get on your nerves when you play some hours

some informations, I have to say, buttkickers are a HAVE TO! I cant imagine playing or watching a movie without them, anymore

Cheers.

That set up vaguely reminds me of the online gaming parlor in Glasgow that has a console set-up, play the fighters all the bloody time.

Oh, I didn't see this thread. Glad to know it was inspired by my journal entry. And I'll add that that one was inspired by nuttyturnip's entry.

So, just to repeat, I'll post my shot here:

Click pic for full 4.16 MB photo

I guess I'll describe what's there a bit. In the box on the bottom is 80% of all PlayStation games ever. In the cigar box are my GBA games. The DS game cases go upside down when I have the game out (I'm just organized like that). Yes, that's a massive collection of DBZ and TMNT VHS tapes, because I got them before my DVD days. That's how I roll. That's a kangaroo, not a dinosaur. Genesis, SNES, and NES games in the shoeboxes on right speaker. Consoles you don't see because they're in the cabinet/elsewhere are my GBAs, DSs, Game Gear, NES, and old PSX. More accessories in the cabinets. You also don't see my game boxes or my metal DDR pads.

Oh, and unopened Limited Edition Lion King DVD Boxset for the absolute win.

Cheers.

Also, I can't really see your game collection from the bigger picture.

It's the Samsung LN-S2651D, 26" LCD TV. It's all about Samsung. The TV is absolute awesome, and I highly recommend. The only better in its class is a larger screen size. I just couldn't fit a 32" in that cabinet (it's only about $100-$200 more for 6" wider).

As for the games, meh. Maybe I'll take a picture of them sometime. I dunno. I'm sure many of the spine arts are recognizable if own the games yourself. :/

I just noticed that naz mentioned me, so I'll post my setup here.

This is my living room:

I've got my 26" Polaroid HDTV, with a GC, Xbox, Dreamcast, and PS2 hooked up. The shelf on the right is filled with games. My computer is also hooked up to the TV, and when I get a wireless keyboard/mouse for Christmas, I'll be able to surf from the couch or comfy chair. I've also got a Cobalt Flux for DDR, but getting it to sync up with the new TV hasn't been fun.

This is my bedroom, with my older systems:

Here's my N64, NES, Saturn, and Genesis. I don't play these a whole lot, but it's still nifty to have them set up. There's a Virtual Boy in the closet, but I don't have a place to display it.

Ciao.

Osnap new setup picture.

Mac Pro Quad, 4 2.66GHz cores, 1GB RAM, 512MB Radeon X1900XT. It's a beast in all the latest games, in OS X or in Windows. I love it.

No consoles yet, but I bought the Dell 2407 so I'd have options for the next gen ones. Xbox 360 is probably first on the list because of Gears of War and Assassin's Creed. PS3 will be added whenever a Fumito Ueda game is out for it yet. Wii I'll decide on after a while. I have a PS2, but not here... it's back in VA with my other stuff. Need to get that crap sent, actually.

Cheers.

Images were taken with my 2.0MP phone.

Here's where I hack into the net in a similar fashion to the matricks every night. Notice the look of concern on the general guy's face.

And here's my junk including: Books. Games. Movies. Stereo. Playstation. PS2. Gamecube. And Kenny.

Someone really likes Mario! What exactly are those things on top of your shelves? Did you make them? They look neat I especially like the one with the clouds. And Elixir's right, the last two links are broken.
