Kirby's Dream Course is sweet. I might have to pony up some money for some Wiipoints.
I've already got Shining Force for GBA. |
![]() CPG settings complete. Neural linkage, ion density normal. Update meta motor cortex parameters. Nuclear reactor critical. Power flow is stable. Systems all green. Strike Freedom, system activated! |
Then remedy it and get some. Kirby's Adventure HOLLA.
I cant WAIT to get my wii just to have that game, AGAIN ^^;;, i still have the genesis cartridge for the series XD |

And then when Kirby Super Star gets released, download that. Sup RPG battle in the Great Cave Offensive.
Shining Force is a great release, I guess, if you don't own the original, like I do. Sigh. Well, there's always the N64 games. Never did get around to buying that system. Too bad Sin & Punishment won't show up on the US VC.

Nice! Pretty good VC week imho. I read the IGN review of Kirby on VC and they basically said it's the best game ever made. Pretty high praise for an old NES title...

RPGs will be the big winner of the VC. There the only ones people seem to think are worth the money. Considering how much some of the actual carts cost these days, most are a bargain IMO, but it's the vaporware stigma and the ROM world holding people back about price.
You know, it's interesting... people DO get more excited about RPG's on the VC than anything else. Shadow says it's because of the price of the original carts these days, but I think it's gotta be something else because I don't try to buy the originals and I'm still excited about them.
Odd. It's not like I don't enjoy Super Mario Bros... but I'd just rather play Super Mario RPG. Nostalgia? |
I also do get excited about RPG but I already own the actual Paper Mario cart. The only question is, is it worth 1000point/$10 so I don't have to drag the N64 out from my closet? Same goes when they are going to release Super Mario RPG... and maybe non-RPG games like Yoshi's Island... *sighs*
EDIT: Actually, when I think about it, my SNES doesn't really work well and if the battery dies in SMRPG and YI, then I would definitely buy them. >_> ![]() The NEW Klonoa Fan Club! Download the soundtracks/audio rips here! Still Alive (Portal ED) Daigasso! Band Brothers style!

I'll probably never buy any SNES games on VC. The SNES (and SFC for that matter) is my favorite console, ever. I own most of the good games, and the one's I don't own I intend to buy in the near, or far, future. It just wouldn't be the same to play them on VC. The feel of the carts, the smell of the box and manual... It just won't feel the same w/o them.

The real prize of buying these is that they have been retooled to support 480p. I don't know if anyone here has tried, but the NES looks pretty crummy on an HDTV. You get "bit fuzz".
