I dunno, I got Super Metroid and Paper Mario. Whilst, yes, it's noticable in Paper Mario, Metroid runs smooth as all hell.
All I'm saying is that if the laptops of the future are not in the
shape of chibi genie girls then I'm going to be sorely disappointed.

More like we get shitty PAL VC games with conversion issues which consume 98% of the VC library. Chances are this game will be just the same.
Chances are the conversion issues are barely noticeable and no different from the fact that most of these games ran letterboxed and with strange framerates originally.

It's still an all time classic.

I have a fairly large collection of VC games including Pokémon Snap, Mario Kart 64, Lylat Wars, Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Gunstar Super Heroes, Streets of Rage 2, Street Fighter 2 Bomberman '2 and proabbly a few more I can't remember right now. All of these games are more than playable. Hell I'd argue that the N64 games are all superior versions. Maybe you should stop being a bitching child Elixir, get away from the ROMS and start paying for quality VC downloads.

Rolling Thunder 2 was quite fun; bonus points for the music-test mode featuring a band comprised of SD synthetics. Cybernator (why this was changed from Assault Suits Valken is beyond me) also makes my recommended list.
Oh, and seeing as someone flubbed the opportunity to bring current-gen a proper Shadowrun RPG - come on, with games like Deus Ex, KOTOR, and Mass Effect as examples, I find it hard to believe that the best Microsoft and FASA could come up with was basically Counter-Strike with magecraft and cybertech - I for one say it's time for a blast from the past. Specifically, the SNES Shadowrun RPG.

Was this mentioned already? I can't find out if it plugs into the Gamecube port or the Wii controller. If it plugs into the Wii controller, well, that's just awesome. Official SNES controller, wireless, for VC games.

Ahahahaha. First of all, the PAL VC games have NTSC/PAL conversion issues which make them far from "quality".

All SNES and all 1st party NES games fit in this category.

Second of all, if I'm going to pay for roms, common sense tells you that you want them in the best possible quality available. PAL VC fails this on a bunch of levels, for 95% of the library it has. Third of all, emulators like ZSNES have been dominating over the original experience for years now. Perfect roms can be found online which aren't riddled with conversion shit, are free, and have fantastic emulators that enhance SNES/etc games on a monitor. Quality which you won't find from a tv with component.

There's a few good PAL VC games like Sin & Punishment but ahahahaha "quality VC downloads"

Where did you preorder them from? I was waiting for Play-Asia to open theirs, but if there's somewhere else, do tell. I'll just use them instead.

In retrospect, it's great that they decided to rename it to Cybernator back then. Especially considering the hilarious PS2 remake.

"Have you played Valken on SNES?"
"Sure haven't, but what's this! I'll just get it on PS2, it's gotta be better, right?"
*Slow motion head shake of disapproval*

Also I hear HARVEST MOON is on the PAL VC. The original is still the best somehow, and they release like thirty new ones every month.

I've never played Star Tropics and know almost nothing about it, other than people love it. Sounds like something I'll have to download.

Its definetely a good game. Its one of my favourite nes games of all time. There are lots of great puzzles and the difficulty of this game definetely has its moments (stupid pirate island). You'll get a good amount of playing time out of this one especially with all the islands you have to explore.

I would probably download put I already got the nes cartridge for it, so I think I'll be going for KOF 94. I've been showing an interest into the KOF series lately since getting KOF 11.

Work was started today on the remodeling of the Muppet News Studio. AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Wait a minute...only two games this week? Well there was that one time when a Zelda game was the only one released, so which one counts as two games?

CPG settings complete. Neural linkage, ion density normal. Update meta motor cortex parameters. Nuclear reactor critical. Power flow is stable. Systems all green. Strike Freedom, system activated!

Woo! I guess I will have to get Internet access at my new diggs after all... I wonder if there is hope of seeing the sequel also?

Damn straight! Probably one of the most addicting puzzle games ever. You should turn out positive on a drug test after playing it.

Some Mischief Makers would be nice too. The VC is no stranger to sweet Treasure luv!

Man, I need a job.

It's all right. I'll keep an eye on my source and nope they open preorders soon.

I probably would buy Startropics but oh god hello failure US only. I wonder how people will deal with the 747 part of the game.

I wonder how they plan on dealing with those who have never played before and how they are gonna get past the "Dunk the manual in water" bit.
